i would guess testing for comt- genes and mthfr because its affecting psychee a lot. women with slow-comt oftenly have eds, anxiety, ocd.. and on the same side they metabolize ssri very fast so that medicamentation needs to give in high doses or they respond not at all. i have this polymorphism , epilepsie, anxiety, adhd, and pills are the last helpfull out there.

My curiosity drew me into this discussion. Most enlightening. Thank you all.
As a carer of a SEED sufferer I have recently been getting more and more convinced that medication might be needed (chemical imbalance). This despite being very sceptical of meds from her early treatment failures. One gets very desperate to alleviate the suffering of a loved one.
Now I am going to shut up about this to her. Extreme restriction is clearly, and plain to see, the cause/answer. More work to alleviate her fear is needed ...not adding to it.

I loved this. I am currently gradually decreasing psychiatric medication I have been on for years and was told I would have to stay on forever, but after learning they don’t even really know how they work I decided to look into it more and try coming off.
