I use the teacher grading inserts to track my habits. I put the habits on the left side and the day at the top. It allows me to track over 20 things in the month. I put mine on a clip board and it hangs in my room. Some things I track are: vitamins, eating habits ( like did I eat a fruit, vegetable, fried food, soda), water intake, exercise, cleaning (one row for each area) , reading, gratitude journal, spending, etc
One thing I track almost every week that I've never seen anyone else do is how often I practice piano. Maybe there aren't too many other musicians in the planner community, but it's perfect for those little weekly ones. I also use habit trackers for things like vitamin pills, water intake, and meditation
These are great ideas. I currently track gratitude, my Bible App reading, TimeHop, and reading. I sometimes track my water intake and vitamins as well. 💛
I just made a habit tracker the other day. I took an old divider, cut it down so it was roughly half sheet size. To the front I stuck some daily habit tracker stickers, labelled a couple of them and left a few blank. On the back I put monthly habit tracker stickers. Added a tab sticker. And laminated it. Now it’s a bookmark type piece in my planner.
Tracking water (daily), vitamins (daily), steps (daily), clean eating (daily) and self care (daily). Monthly I’m tracking no spend (on planner supplies 😂), workouts and sleep
My favorite thing about my bujo was tracking habits. But I hated having to set up each one and draw out the lines, and sometimes filled out the wrong ones if I didn’t draw the lines. So when I started with my HP I actually got the teacher checklist inserts and started using those. I can easily see which habits are in which columns, i can track multiple ones throughout the month and move it where I need it. I mean it’s not always the cutest, but I like to add washi and use different color pens, and often put down the clear square dates from the Dates and Holidays stickerbook for the dates. It’s consistently been the most functional thing in my planner lol. And because it’s a packet of insert paper it’s a super cheap way to easily and track habits and I don’t worry about searching for coordinating stickers every week/month
I love these ideas! Some of the things I track are: my daily medication, reading or journaling, bible study, exercise/walking, water intake, bowel movements (glamorous, I know...but helps me with my IBS), headaches/migraines, sleep (either # of hours or my Fitbit sleep score), self-care (taking some time to just do something for me), and my skincare routine.
I am trying to track my fruit and vegetable intake. I am supposed to eat 5 servings of veggies and 3 fruits every day. I've had a difficult time tracking it, but, am definitely going to try some of these ideas. Thanks so much for this video!!
On the water one you can also just white out or sticker over the 8th drop and use it to track weekly so you don’t have to check it off 8 times a day because often people don’t bother to check them off if they have to do it 56x a week. But they will check off each day they met the goal.
Hi, I love our videos, they are so helpful. I’m no so much tracking a habit but my progress of healing after a hysterectomy. Had I not viewed your video I may have never had this idea. It will be very nice to see how I progressed as they months pass. thanks again for the inspiration.
I track whether or not I' sticking to my weekly Way of Eating, my daily house walk, going to bed at a reasonable hour, etc. I use the hydration stickers as a weekly tracker by using a neutral marker to color in one drip. The Pastel and Bright mega books both have lots of trackers in them, too. 💚💚💚
Last year (2019) I only tracked water intake & that was on my weekly page. This year (2020) I’m tracking so much, that when I mentioned on a FB group what I was tracking they were like “Why so much?” My response is “Cause I can.” These are great ideas! I actually add to my monthly spread; used to be a DIY planner & I’ve basically did that to my HP. I ❤️ to use stickers for my tracking, so I copied the monthly spread to add more ways of using my monthly tracking.
I have been meaning to do more habit tracking and you’re motivating me to be more intentional with it. Thank you for pushing me to be a better me! 💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛💛 I use my monthly to track mood, if I cry, weather, and what I ate to see if that helps me on my mental health journey. I know I want to try my sleep, my water intake, and steps/movement I do in the future.
Heather❗️I believe that you may be in my BRAIN 🧠 😂 First, I do a Wild Styled spread & then your video comes up & it is WILD STYLED❗️😂 Then, I’m saying that I need to make some Habit Trackers & WHAT DO YOU KNOW❗️😂🤣😂 Love it❗️♥️♥️♥️
This was helpful and had good ideas for tracking. Love the Rongrong fitness sticker book. I could see using the laminated weekly or daily trackers and then log that data onto the monthly or yearly ones. Thanks again for the great ideas. 😊
I’m mostly tracking my steps BUT recording my weekly total. My FitBit has all the info but I want to see the # as I plan next week’s spread. That way if I slacked off or knocked it out of the park, I’m motivated!
Hi Heather I use my happy planner for a lot of things and one of them is a daily med tracker and schedule for myself and tube feeding tracker schedule for my sister. I write down in my planner in the middle box my medcine routine of what times I have to take my medcine and which on everytime I take my medcine I go into my planner and I put a check mark right next to the time I wrote down. Same thing for my sister when she gets her formella I put a check mark for when she has her formula. No stickers or washi nothing fancy other then Using a papar mate ink joy colored pen. I've been tracking my medcine time and my sister tube feeding times for a while at first I used my mini July 2019-June 2020! Horzontal Planner which was my first planner until it ended and I had carry it over into my 2020 classic vertcal Planner.
I also track the books I'm reading by writing down the book title and the chapters I read while reading the book and sometimes stirs what happened in the book from the chapters I had read. Then When filming RUclips videos i put in the weekly goals is film/edit and what video it is. Then on the weekly page I go to the day of the week that it is and write it down in my planner as well then same goes to the day that I get to upload my videos iI need up putting edit/upload And put upload videos on the Friday that I get my infusions so that when I get my IVIG I helps remind me to edit and do a any last minute final edits before I upload it and edit all the other videos that I might have filmed also. I have a video on my channel showing how I use my planner for RUclips videos that one of the things I use my 1 planner for now.
Heather, I enjoyed this vid. Been with happy planner x3 yrs now. Laminating stickers is brilliant! Someone has a vid on laminating stickers for their (HP) dry erase board. I never thought of that for actual planner. I just bought the Stick Girl teacher planner for Wellness/Meal Planning. I’m just looking for some ideas-and you had some good ones. Also, if you are reading this, can you plz talk to HP ppl about a $50 wellness/fitness/habit tracker sticker book? It would sell!!!! I promise! Thanks love! ❤️
I track my eating, medication, prayer time, morning chores, water intake, creative time, Bible study plus others...can’t wait for my laminator to arrive! Thanks as always! 💛
So when you put the water tracker on the sheet that was already punched and you plan to laminate it...wouldn't you have to cut off the already punched end and relaunch once laminated?
I track daily Did I track food eaten Did I rough plan three meals for next day Total distance walked based on iPhone reading Did i do 3 simple posture stretches morn and eve ( less than five minutes total) I don’t like to leave this area unchecked which is very motivating I use simple check marks each day at the bottom of my vertical day For food I write a T and a P and then check on top The exercises area just three checks at top and bottom
I need to meal track what I eat medicine track exercise track daily water intake everyday house cleaning track days pet care track water feed walk vet appt books i read Bible study Gratitude Track my crochet project and cross-stitch projects.
Love the habit trackers, it would be so so nice if the happy planner have books with just all the different types of habit trackers.
