I know the whole camera shot toward Jesse was meant to be an "oh shit we're not topping this, I know this girl's gonna win," but in this moment and before this when Rachel and Jesse are chatting outside you can just TELL he still loves her and the look he gives her here just HURTS ME SO BAD Edit - Grammar
Timberlinn i think it was meant to show that he still loved her. i think that scene and the one where he tells the woman from NYADA(can’t remember her name) that she should accept Rachel into NYADA. it shows that he still loved and cared for her. also idk if it was intentional but when you watch the show again in season 1 Jessie tells Rachel that he wants to make all her dreams come true and that scene is kinda like him keeping his promise and trying to get her into NYADA
I absolutely love that little moment just before Finn notices Carmen entering, when he’s watching Rachel sing with this big happy smile on his face. So sweet ❤️
This was Lea's best performance she killed it.Love Lea Michelle. The look on Lea's face when Whoopie Goldberg walked in was wow you felt Lea's singing. This was a great show at the time
@@jB-rj1pb Mercedes has soul. She has pipes and often she does a banging job but there is this natural quality to Rachel's voice. She can be sexy, sweet, calm, fun, or she can belt the shit out of a song like she did here. Rachel is one in a million.
I loved how he was her biggest fan & cheerleader. When she was singing he was there with this magnificent smile on his face & so proud of her. Then when she ran into his arms & he holds her melts my heart everytime I watch this.
That Jesse shot. It wasn't about him not being over Rachel, though there may have been some of that there. That look, if you remember the story line, he was kind of on shaky ground with his job, with explicit knowledge that he needed to win to keep it. That look was "no way I can beat that."
I dont think we should put two girls against each other when there both amazingly talented. They both deserved the best and so did others in glee like kurt, Tina, santana, and more I think they all should have gotten more solos equally.
It’s 2019, I’m 25 years old, and I’m watching this right before class starts because it’s one of the best Rachel Berry moments in Glee history. Plus that moment where Jesse is just like, “Yeah, I definitely lost a good one”, is heartbreaking.
Rachel / Lea ohemgee it is so more than obvious that she sings just right and straight and from her very own HEART and SOUL.... Love, love, LOVE this.... I also really love the song titled "Get It Right" [[that I think is actual a(n) GLEE original song.....]] that she sang / that she sings. Man, is her voice breathtaking, or what....? ♡♡♡♡♡♡♡♡
What i lOve with this solo is the simplicity of it. No need for any choreography or drama around, just a song and voice telling an emotion. Beautiful !
I couldn't believe i missed out on this when it was on tv. Im investing in the season dvds. I'm so in love with this show, the performers are extraordinary. So gifted and talented.
If you listen to her first competition solo from S1 (don’t rain on my parade) and her last competition solo (this one) you can really hear the growth in Lea’s voice. For me it shows that Rachel has come such a long way musically
2019 who's watching y'all?! for me this was the defining song for New Directions that made them won nationals. And.. is it just me or Rachel just released the kraken (after all those nationals that they didn't win) her voice hella got a lot BETTER
Videogamergirl93 isn’t that the point tho? literally every competition on the show has totally ridiculous and unqualified celebrity judges making the audience question if winning is even really a worthwhile achievement? that’s how i took it at least
This was Michele's best solo as Rachel, with the exception of her first take "..Feel my Love" as she had to control various emotions and memories with Cory while singing in THAT room. But this song wasn't at the level of Celine's masterpiece vocal control. However, this was a amazing performance of why the star of Glee was the star.
Rachel is simply the best. I get why people don't like her because of the way she acts when she fights for what she wants. When it comes to vocal she is amazing♥️
I love this dynamic when Rachel is in doubt and Finn always knows what to say to make her keep her shit together. I think in the modern often judgmental world with it's unrealistic standarts it's the best thing a man (or a woman) can do for a woman: just keep telling her she's fine, remind her to injoy herself and help her reduce anxiety. Sometimes it means telling all this things to yourself
Kurt has always been right when saying "She is difficult but boy can she sing". One of my favorite solos from her!
And they still moved in together
@@kaylee1062 I know right. He said she became tolerable after high school.
😍
She definitely honored Celine with this performance.
Su mejor solo de la temporada 3
Without a doubt Rachel’s best solo PERIOD. You can hear the emotion in her voice, her voice is so strong and so well suited for this song.
I think this one as well as "To Love You More" were probably her best for me.
I thought my man was pretty solid too
And this time that was really bomb
“My Man”. Nothing can top that. Lea also sang it flawlessly live. Say what you like about her personality, but Lea was the Queen of Glee.
@@daisycook2366 no doubt she is
I love how her eyes immediately brighten when Carmen walks in. It's so natural and awesome. Great acting!
She was probably in the back testing Rachel to see if she'd still give a good performance even if she didn't show
