Dr. Webb, you’re definitely a very motivational person! I recently finished my 7 years in the Navy and unfortunately wasn’t as proactive as yourself so I am essentially just starting school. I currently have two boys (preschool age) but finally have the support system to get through school. I love these videos and am ready for the long road through Medical School!however, my biggest concern is working full time and going to school full time.

when you say you covered four lectures per day, how did you do that? what was your note taking process. What do you mean by you covered a lecture and how long does it take for you to cover a lecture. I hear people say they cover lectures, I'd just like clarification.

Thank you so much for inspiration and good luck in your final year of surgery residency.

    • @antoniowebbmd

Most schools have old exam questions or their or books you can buy (depending on what class you are studying for). Then there are qbanks like Uworld or kaplan, etc.

Hello Dr. Webb, big fan found you a couple momths ago and i have been watching all your videos. One question, how to you stuyd the material youre going to review? Do you/did you right it all down? In my medical school the exams are very class content orientes and they only ask you stiff thats written on the class slides/pdf but they do ask very random and specific details. I try my best to do my own notes and keep up to date but i notice i take so long to handwrite down the whole slides/pdfs on my own organized notes. I do write everything on the slides but it takes co much time i barelly have time to keep reviewing. How did you deal with that? Did you write down your classes?
Big thanks, wish you the best

    Hi . Hope u r doing well .
I needed a suggestion about something
my friend had limb extension surgery in 2015 and increased his height by 3 inches (the purpose was to increase height and not to balance the two legs ; both his legs were already at equal level)
He was asking me whether he should start body building slowly esp leg training like u do .
Is it safe after 3 years to start ? I mean will the rods be fine or is there a chance of breaking?

I like the analogy of the fire hydrant. However, I heard a doctor say that he didn't like that analogy because that is humanly IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to drink from a fire hydrant. And that Medical school isn't IMPOSSIBLE. His analogy was that "medical school is like eating 100 pancakes a DAY...." he says that it's humanly possible but very difficult. When I think about eating that many pancakes a DAY..... lol that seems impossible but verrrrrryyyyyyy hard to accomplish.... lol
