My husband and I visited Israel in 1981.
He was a Jewish believer and he studied
the Bible. He came to the same conclusion as you as to where the
2nd Temple was located. He did not
believe that it was where the Dome of
the Rock now stands. He now knows
the exact location as he passed 12

Wonderful! I am in full agreement. I was in Jerusalem in 1983 and while visiting the Temple Mount was told the same thing by the local guide! It makes perfect sense!

But there’s no possible way that the simple mount could be where the temple was because there’s no springs at all and if you read the Bible which he clearly read the scripture and completely went over what it says it literally says the temple was built in the city of David and there’s a video on RUclips where they have actually found the remnants of A temple in David in the city of David that has all of the characteristics of Solomons temple there’s also a scripture in the Bible that talks about the soldiers coming down to the temple well the city of David sits lower than the temple mount which means if the soldiers were being housed up on the temple mount which they have proof that it doesn’t look like there was a temple there but it looks like there was a housing unit for soldiers that they would’ve had to run down to the temple also in the city of David exactly where this temple has been found remnants of the temple there is a running spring and there is proof that there was a temple they are at one point that held sacrifices animal sacrifices they have found bones from the animals hundreds of them and they have also found the olive press where they would’ve pressed the olives to anoint the person and the place where they would have washed their hands before doing the sacrifice now that right there is unspeakable proof on what the Bible says I think so many people don’t read what the Bible says in it fall self like they don’t read the Bible and really read it they just read it and come up with their own interpretations of stuff but if you read what the Bible says it says that it would be built in the city of David which if you do your research on the city of David before David conquered the city the city was known as Zion now does it not say in the Bible that the temple would be built on Zion but when David conquered the city he changed it to the city of David it’s undefeatable proof I mean as believers we’re supposed to read the Bible and we’re supposed to read it not read it and then say OK well I literally just read that it says that the temple would be built in the city of David but no we’re going to say it’s over here on the temple mount that doesn’t even make any sense because the Bible straight up says that where are the temple was there would be no temple until the third temple is built again and there’s clearly a temple on the temple mount it’s not a Jewish temple but it’s a temple God said there would be no temple until the third temple is rebuilt why do people not read the Bible and actually read it it’s so irritating to me that believers will read something and not even understand at all what it says they read it in and out oh well a temple is a temple doesn’t matter what kind of temple it is a temple in the temple and God is a temple is a temple and there is no temple going to be billed until the third temple is rebuilt now it also talks about where the temple was it would be as if farmers have plowed the land well the city of David if you look on the map of Jerusalem and where the city of David is it’s basically just been demolished and it looks like farmers have just plowed the land no that right there is also proof that it’s not on the temple mount because the temple mount is flourishing with life as to where the city of David doesn’t look like that the Bible says what the Bible says I’m not gonna say that this guy just wants money and is just trying to sell a book but I see a lot of people that are just like oh I went and bought your book oh I went and bought the book instead of seeing what’s going on right now instead of going and buying this guys book we need to be getting closer to God and we need to start really reading his word and knowing his word not reading it and then going to somebody else that says oh well I have proof in the proof that he has doesn’t prove anything it just proves that OK there’s some flat rock where is the spring at where is the proof that they did sacrifices where is the higher point that the soldiers with came down to the temple there isn’t any because the temple mount sits higher than the city of David where Solomons temple would have been built because that’s where God said to build it people stop listening to what man says and start getting into the Word and start really reading your scriptures and knowing your scriptures because honestly this guy is talking out his bottom and clearly not even reading the Scriptures properly and I’m not judging anyone I’m just saying the Scriptures say with the Scriptures say he clearly read it how can you read that it would be built in the city of David and then literally just look out for that insight but I have proof that it was dealt on The temple mount that’s literally taking what dad said and saying yeah OK I know you said that God but hear me out I think it was built over here if God said it was built in the city of David it was built in the city of David not on the temple mount that doesn’t say one thing and then do something else that’s not who he is that’s not his character people need to get right with God because I see a lot of people in here that are just automatically agreeing with what this guy says in there like I knew it it was so bad right in our faces but isn’t that how The devil is isn’t the devil just like you know right in your face I swear God is more hidden and you really got a search for him to find him I swear Satan is this right there in front of your face and he’s like ready for you to just grab him and be like OK I’m gonna do witchcraft and all of this instead of the data as to where God it’s more of a fight between good and evil when you’re on the right path and you’re really searching for Christ it’s a fight every day because evil tries to fight you and tries to make you turn away from Christ But when you’re walking with the devil there is no face like that it’s kind of like the devil has UN that’s that but when you walk with Christ it’s a fight every day and I struggle every day people need to get right I’m seeing so many people that just believe this guy and don’t even go to God about it and they just automatically buying his book and just believing that this is true and the Bible says what the Bible says

This is so fantastic!! I was in Israel in 1973. I walked the Temple Mount freely, as it was ok in 1973. I to found the threshing floor, studied the Golden gate. I looked at the Mount of Olive where Jesus looked down at the temple. My conclusion was that the temple was where you said the threshing floor was. I was 23 when I made this determination.
That’s awesome! It really is so plain, and yet it remains a mystery because the “experts” have assured everyone that the Dome of the Rock is the correct place. And yet the plain evidence speaks for itself. ☺️ Blessings, Christian

Yea but how can you be so smart and still nkt relzie that Jesus is already accounted for and completely negated using the Hebrew Torah. And before u use sole quote u better check the translation ur using. All love.
Wonderful video. I have always believed that it would be almost impossible for Israel to destroy the Dome of the Rock without facing a holy war. In fact, everything makes sense. The Golden Gate perfectly aligned with the exact location of the Temple. I wonder why the Temple Institute has not yet reached this conclusion?
Thank you for watching and sharing! I think it's because the tradition is so strong in favor of the big rock under the Dome of the Rock, plus all the academics missed it, too. The confusion over the gate began in the mid-1800s and just set everything off track. Since the only reference points for a Solomonic style would have to come mainly from Jerusalem and modern scholars don't recognize any of Solomon's work in Jerusalem today, then they have nothing to compare to stylistically, and just label it Byzantine or Umayyad, when it really doesn't match those styles either. Most likely, though, it has just been allowed to be hidden by God, until the proper time. I hope that this will soon gain acceptance, but we'll have to wait and see. :) There's more in the book, and I have a blog at endtimesberean.com if you want to check that out. Blessings!
Some people get hung up on tradition over evidence. Let's be honest a threshing floor has to be flat, not like the rock under the Dome.
David Rohl also believes the Dome of the Spirits or Tablets is the correct location.

@@EndTimesBerean You don't have the word of God. Yahweh doesn't exist. We know this because earthquakes are caused by plate tectonics and winds by barometric pressure imbalances. The Jewish God of winds and earthquakes cannot therefore have been the creator God of the universe. We know that as a species we have no genuine knowledge of the origins of the universe. We only have educated guesswork based on science as to the origin of our stretch of space time (the Planck expansion implies the existence of a hyperdense singularity or black hole if you believe black holes are sentient good luck proving it). Even were you to establish that a Supernatural deity exists (and to date no one has and you would probably win the Nobel prize if you did) it would require another order of magnitude of proof to establish sentience, yet another to establish design and furthermore that this deity didn't arise naturally out of the physical laws of its fragment of space time. However since as a species we don't actually know anything beyond the implied big bang religion has jumped the gun by claiming a God did it. You don't get to jump to God without proof and you don't get to jump to the Bible is the word of God without better proof than currently exists. How we do science is we have a null hypothesis. As regards Gods we have evidence of deified humans like the Pharoahs and Chinese Emporers so since these have a natural origin and are subject to the physical laws of our branch of space time they don't count. Applying Ockham's razor, the simplest explanation (the one requiring fewest assumptions) being the most likely means that no Supernatural Gods is the null hypothesis. We have no acceptable evidence of anything Supernatural existing to date. So you don't get to claim the Bible is the word of God without better evidence than you currently have. At the moment that's just an unproven assertion. For that same reason you can't claim Jesus was the son of God. If there was a historical Jesus no secular evidence has emerged to date but so far if there was there were a number in ancient Israel and the Biblical narrative may well be a composite of several people like Robin Hood.
Just because there is a coincidence between the Bible and reality does not make it all true. After all most works of modern historical fiction have a great deal of research that go into them and have a correlation with reality. You wouldn't say Harry Potter is all true just because Kings Cross station exists. Or Asterix because there used to be a tribe called the Gauls. There are also numerous errors in the Bible. These include utter crap like flat earth, created kinds, geocentrism and talking snakes and donkeys. The Biblical global flood narrative never happened it's based on a local flood narrative from Shirupak. The Garden of Eden is a myth and so is original sin we know this because humans evolved over 6 migrations out of Africa not in a garden in prehistoric Armenia near the sources of the Tigris and Euphrates Rivers.
The location of the Temple is now thought to be in the City of David not the Temple Mount there's a video on RUclips by the naked archaeologist that shows the excavated sacrificial area. I find that pretty credible although if someone presented better evidence I would have to consider it. The model of the Temple Mount underestimated the size of the Roman fortress by some margin and it looks like the Temple Mount was actually the site of the fortress and possibly their temple to Jupiter not the Jewish temple.
The original Pentateuch was compiled from folk tales and many stories like the book of Daniel are accepted as mythical. The New Testament was similarly compiled by Constantine. The Bible is the word of man not of God. That is why there are 33,000 known transcription errors. I wouldn't expect there not to be the occasional accuracy in there however to say that the Bible is entirely true is to ignore what we already know to be false.
@@andrewharper1609 Lord God and Lord Jesus does exist he revealed himself in Spirit to me. A demon was trying to take my mind, it took over half my mind. I said a prayer with a lady I had never said and have not heard since. Lord Jesus came made me go in his rain and cleaned me. I got my full mind back, no anger for no anymore, no strange feeling around me. Another time a demon was have relations with me, when I woke up I could see it leaving away from me, huge, and I could hear in Spirit an angel coming to get it. When I got baptized I asked Lord God to receive his Holy Spirit in Lord Jesus name and he allowed it. Guiding me through life today, keeping me out of sin, and letting me know when I'm in trouble. Lord God created us and everything the Bible says is true, cause following the New Testament Lord Jesus revealed himself in Spirit. A building has a builder, a vehicle had an inventor, a painting has a painter, a sculpture has a sculptor, the earth, trees and things and beings has a creator Lord God. It's very simple, Satan's children took books out of the Bible revealing even more truths of Lord God and Lord Jesus. And Lord Jesus warns of destruction to these people that remove his word.
The Bible is very literal, everything it says has happened and is happened. Just look up Johnathan Kleck for the Whore of Babylon in Revelation the Vatican. And everything in the New Testament if I don't follow it something bad is happening. Lord God's Holy Spirit wrote the Bible through men, Lord God and Lord Jesus revealed himself to them as well. I didn't believe fully either, till a demon tried to take my mind, like the people in the nut house. The demon had taken half my mind before, I had a lady say a prayer with me I have never heard of and have not heard the prayer since. Lord Jesus came in Spirit made me go in his rain and cleaned me, my mind came back fully, no more anger for no reason, and this strange feeling left from me all at once. The people in the crazy that's not there, it's because a demon has them, the people on drugs a demon or some demons attach to them, they must be prayed on to get it removed and most don't understand. Everything in that Bible is true, it's man trying to understand it with the natural mind that see contradictions in the Bible. The lake of fire reminds me of the sun, and when we get a burn from something you realize Lord God and hell are real. Watch American gods it shows you the coming war between the Godly angels and Satan and his fallen angels and the nations. Satan shows off on his TV, and mocks only Lord God and Lord Jesus every chance he gets, why cause they are the truth.
The Bible is not the Word but speaks about the Word. The Bible is a tool to seek the truth in.
You had me when you stated you believe everything, every word, in the Bible, to be true; I believe the same. The Bible proves itself and I appreciate you citing scripture as well.
His calculations are Wrong though and I can prove it with Scripture.
If you ever study scripture, you'll discover all throughout the Bible, Elevation is used to describe their journeys.
They were going up or coming down. I verified it using Google maps to clarify how they were certain. Sea level elevation proves they knew what they were talking about because it was mostly ON FOOT.
Acts 21:30-32
Paul says that a Report went UP to the Roman commander and the Roman soldiers ran DOWN to the Temple to arrest him.
The Temple was NOT on the Temple mount.
Josephus even said if they were to approach the Temple from the south, they couldn't see the Temple because of the Roman fortress.
The Temple stood 1 mile south of the Temple mount at a much LOWER elevation.

Hi Paul, it might seem from your current position that I haven't thought this through, but you should examine all of the evidence in my book first. About the reference to Paul going up, I don't know if you've had the pleasure of visiting Jerusalem and the Temple Mount yet, but it isn't the highest point on Mount Moriah, the Old City of Jerusalem continues to rise in elevation north of the Temple Mount. So any location north of the wall and up into the Muslim Quarter, was up. There's a lot more in the book to help explain why the Temple Mount wasn't the Fortress Antonia. I hope you will test me on that and get the book to hear the evidence for yourself, before you disregard it without a fair hearing. Either way, may God bless you!

Nice work. I took a trip with Chuck Missler to Israel back in 1995 and we were privileged to listen to the state of the art arguments for the rebuilding of the temple and the disputed location. Also got to meet and hear Gershon Solomon a 10th generation Jerusalemite who experienced the retaking of the temple back in 1967 along with miraculous angel appearances.

Missler would support the location of the Temple in the City of David hypothesized by Robert Cornuke. Also, the Tabernacle of David refers to the Tent, which some believe will be found in a cave in Qumran. see Amos 9:11
One little detail more which may support this theory, brother:
REVELATION 11 which seems to describe the 3rd Temple built on the Temple Mount without the courtyard of the gentiles which is supposed to be "given unto the Gentiles" in the end times... that court could fall perfectly on the place of the Dome of the Rock...

@Castcreator1 I have a lot more evidence in the book to show that the gate wasn't built in the 500s, but I think that just the evidence I show in the video should be enough to refute the academic conjecture that it isn't a temple gate.
@Castcreator1 I agree with your first and last statements completely, and I won't argue about the rest. The book is partially to address the academic viewpoint about the 500s and present evidence to refute that idea, which as you said, is an academically derived one. As far as rebuilding the temple, I hope that the current moves towards peace with Israel continue, and that everyone recognizes that Israel should have the right to rebuild the temple on the Temple Mount and that it will be done soon in a time of peace and hope for a better future for all. @Castcreator1 He has indeed blessed the Jewish people, and he will fulfill his covenant. I want to just ask you a question about the 500s comment, though. Did you watch the whole video? And did you read the quote from the Piacenza Pilgrim in it? It's from 570 AD, and calls the Golden Gate a gate of the temple. How could it possibly have been built in the 500s and the Piacenza Pilgrim thinks it's old?
@Castcreator1 There are several factual errors in what you just asserted. First, my point is that if the gate had been constructed in the 500s, then in 570 AD that would have been common knowledge. So whether or not you accept that a Christian could have known anything that was true about the temple, he would have certainly known if the gate was new. Second, there is a huge difference between the size of the the stones filling the doorway of the gate (filled in 1541 AD) and the stones of the gate itself, by an order of magnitude in volume. You should be able to tell that by looking closely at the pictures of it in my video. Plus the two gate post stones inside the Golden Gate are each the size of the stones at Stonehenge in the UK (approx. 20-25 tons), and they are quite comparable to larger stones in the lower courses of the Temple Mount, although, not the the largest stones, which are hundreds of tons each. None of the other former gates are of the same type or quality, and even on the far south, it is clear that this is a rebuilt area, that may be purely secondary use stones, or could represent an entrance similar to the Robinson Arch entrance on the West. I've researched this question much more thoroughly than you suspect. I hope you will check out the rest of the evidence in the book.

The reason the Western Wall became the place to visit was because during the Ottoman reign, it was the only place Jews were allowed to visit and some of the great ashlars of the lower courses were exposed there. Benjamin of Tudela tells that the Jews used to pray at the Golden Gate, by the way. I read your book and enjoyed all of it. The Bible is clear and does mention were the Temple was built on Mount Moriah, not in the City of David. Thank you for the information provided.
It makes you realize that the temple has been rebuilt, just not into a temple. I'm sure the stones that used to be the temple were not all removed from the area of the Temple Plaza. So they were more than likely used in the building of the present day upper level plaza. So now when you climb the stairs and walk around on the level of the dome of the rock building you're actually walking on the old temple.
Finally someone who thinks like I do. Since I got RUclips in my diet I noticed all the false teachers that are trying to change my way of thinking. Just like GOD has said this would happen in the end times, as we are now at. Thank you for showing everyone the true location of the temple. Not only with all your evidence, but, PLAIN COMMON SENCE.

I think you got it! And just at the right time in history! Praise the Lord! I think the information you gave us in this first video was perfect and was the most important information to know and inform us about and you have been wise in keeping the information short and in terms that the majority of people (laymen) can absorb. hmm... i do not think that the "temple mount" ever housed the temple. The are that we are calling the temple mount is a Roman fortress. The temple was somewhere nearby in what is called the City of David.
Hi Dianne, if you get my book you can read about all of the evidence that supports that the Temple Mount was definitely the site of the temple. It's thought that the Roman fortress was on the Temple Mount and their temple to Jupiter was the only Temple that would have been included in the complex. So whilst there might have been a temple on the mount it wasn't the Jewish one.

I didn't address the Gihon Spring because that was in the City of David where the tabernacle was kept. 1 Kings 8:1 tells us that it was brought up out of the City of David and placed in the temple when it was completed by Solomon. The book, however, goes into great detail on that subject and directly tackles the scriptures and historic quotes that are reported to support the City of David as the temple location, and explains why that isn't so. Some great ideas and thinking.
You are right: the Temple Mount is the general area of the "Temple".
However, I do not think we throw out history and culture as it relates to the EXACT location of the former temple.
Also, the mentioning of "threshing floor" area is obviously a big clue. But, that doesn't mean they built the temple EXACTLY on that area of threshing, but in the general area.
We're splitting hairs here, and that is not good.
The Temple Mount is the Temple Mount. After Ezekiel's War and the great earthquake, the Dome of the Rock area transforms into the 3rd Temple as SHIA Islam is destroyed and Sunni's acknowledge the great saving miracle of God for Israel.
Upon the heap of brokenness, a 3rd temple will indeed come in this general area.
Romans 11, is absolutely true.

The theory of the Temple being located down close to the Gihon has always seemed crazy to me and definitely goes against a couple of scriptures... I have always believed it to be on the Temple Mount but never was sure if we can pinpoint a specific area. Bedrock on the surface ? Bedrock goes well beneath the foundation to support the walls and you said that platform is built well after so to compare the Golden gate with the bedrock that was on a platform built way way way later is insane .
@@jesussavesletyourgooddeeds3623 Perhaps I didn't describe the situation well. You'll find much more about this in the book, but yes, bedrock means part of the rock of the mountain. Everything is ultimately built on it. But in the case of the threshing floor surface, the rock of the mountain is exposed. This makes it older than the Golden Gate itself. The interesting thing is that platforms are usually just built on top of bedrock. You don't leave bedrock exposed in the platform, unless you using the bedrock as a reference point for building the floor. Therefore, exposed bedrock shows you that this area predates the platform and predates everything that is built up there. That's why it's important, because if it really was the threshing floor, then it has to have been there back into antiquity, before the temple, before David bought it from Araunah the Jebusite and even back into Abraham's day, when he offered up his son Isaac on Mount Moriah. I came to this same conclusion in the 1990s from a Bible atlas I had. It has an aerial view of the temple mount today and an ancient depiction of the temple mount second temple period. When I compared the two, I could see that Herod's temple would be beside the Dome of the rock. Which makes this scripture pertinent.

Hello David, I hear you, and I know that that's what it may look like, but there really is a lot of evidence and logical deductive reasoning that I present in the book to show that isn't true. I spend a chapter discussing each alternated view, including the City of David, and explain why all of the arguments that the Temple Mount was the Fortress Antonia and that the temple was in the City of David fall apart when you look closely at the historic reports, all of the archaeological evidence, and even cross examine the interpretations of scripture that supposedly prove that case. That is correct. Temple mount area couldn't be the site. For one theres no running water.

The argument about running water is not based on direct scripture, but on inferences from Jewish tradition, except that the Jews of today don't recognize those as valid understandings of their own traditions. I hope you will check out the rest of the reasons why the Temple Mount can't be excluded so easily, but on the other hand there is a lot of evidence against the City of David location, which you may not have heard yet. I challenge you to get the book and give me specific examples that we can talk about. The case is solid, but I am a very reasonable person and value truth over my own pride. So I'm willing to examine any evidence you'd like to submit, as long as you at least read the evidence that I assembled to prove all of the points I make in the video, as well as to refute the key arguments of all of the other opposing views, which I suspect will address whatever position it is that you currently hold. I'm not being contintious, either. I really believe the case I am making is solid, so I will stand behind it and answer specific questions/challenges in order to help as many people as I can come to defensible and reasonable understanding of the truth. Hello, Juan, the tabernacle was definitely in the City of David, scripture says so. But David bought the threshing floor of Araunah, which was outside of the city, and up above them, which from the City of David, could have only been to the north. But David already owned everything inside the city by right of conquest. A purchase of land for 600 shekels of gold could be estimated as a million dollar land purchase today, 50 to 150 acres. Threshing floors are near the fields, fields are outside the city. Even in the days of Abraham, he may have sacrificed in Salem (the name of Jerusalem around 2000 BC) with Melchizadek, but years later, when he offered up Isaac on Mount Moriah, nearby, he was not offering Isaac on Melchizadek's altar inside Salem. There is so much more, but if you want the full story, I hope you will get the book and read all of the reasons why it was in front of the Golden Gate and definitely not in the City of David. The Knight Templars (Poor Knights of Christ) discovered that the Temple was built in the City of David and at the time the Current Temple Mount area was outside of the walls of the City of David by a little over 1000 yards just below the front left corner of the current Har HaBeit Mosque.
I just touch the surface with the evidence in the video, but I do spend a whole chapter on the issues surrounding the City of David as a location for the temple in my book. If you're interested enough to read it, I think you will find a lot more evidence that might cause you reconsider that position. In any case, thank you for weighing in and posting a comment. :)

With the amount of sacrifices going on at the Temple Mount there had to be an unlimited water source, that could only be found in the City of David with the Gihon Springs.
Hi Leonard, I know that a lot of people have tried to make that case, but it's not the deal maker for the City of David that many have tried to make it. For the southern location, on the Temple Mount, I believe you are in the area of Solomon's palace. The 1000 BC era Cyprus beams they tested from that area would support that idea. The big problem for the temple location there is that it isn't a good location for the threshing floor of Araunah, based on the rock elevations and slope in that area. And you still have the problem of the Golden Gate, and there is more information in the book to support the alignment of the Gate and temple. Anyway, it's been an invigorating discussion, I hope you will evaluate the strength of my case. Blessings!

The freedoms we enjoy in America are not always found everywhere else. I also know what it means to have experienced injustice; however, no one can take anything from you that God doesn't allow. God often wants us to demonstrate his love and forgiveness through our own trials, trusting Him that he will reward us for suffering for doing what is right. So, as a Christian, I think you should consider that God still has a prophetic future for Israel, and it includes the Jewish people and a rebuilt temple. I read a book published by Hall Lindsey I think in the 1980’s, that placed the same place that you have proposed. My own visit to this area on the Temple Mount , along with a End Times scholar of biblical prophecies concur with what you are presenting.

The presentation by Bob Cornuke is much more compelling. He addressed very important issues including the Gihon Spring and the importance of having running water, the question of where the Roman fortress is, etc.etc.
Hi Michael, thank you for watching my video. I didn't present anything on the City of David, I just presented the prima facie evidence from the temple itself. That kind of evidence needs to be directly refuted, it can't just be denied by proposing another location. That would be like finding the murder weapon with one suspects fingerprints on it, but then accusing another suspect based on possible motive. You have to first address the murder weapon and fingerprints before discussing the possible motive.
Nevertheless, the City of David conjecture is based a couple of false assumptions. First, that the Temple Mount of today was the Fortress Antonia. The Temple Mount may be large enough for a legion, but its also just barely large enough for a 500-cubit square from the temple. Also, we have many examples of Roman building, but no where in all of the great constructions of Rome, let alone an army fort, did they ever use stones that can compare with the stones of the Temple Mount, which in my estimation is one of the unacknowledged wonders of the world. The largest stone in 500-tons, which I have seen underground in the Western Wall tunnels.
Second, the running water assumption. Scripture says that the tabernacle was in the City of David before the temple was built and that Solomon was anointed there. True. But eleven years later, after building the temple, the ark was brought up out of the City of David, as told in scripture. The Temple Mount has the remains of an aqueduct pipe, an unbelievable number of cisterns, and we are 2000 years removed from the destruction, so there could have easily been other sources that we haven't found due to all of the devastation and the relative fragility of water systems compared to giant stone walls. Also, consider that the "living water" idea is not scriptural, its a non-Jewish assumption about Jewish practices, however the Sanhedrin of today does not consider the water issue an obstacle to the Dome of the Rock location which is at the same elevation that I am proposing. Why is that?
There is so much more that could be written on this, but that's why I've written an entire book on this very important subject. The 25-minute video in intended to suggest to people that the case might not be closed, after all, and encourage you to dig deeper and read what I've found. I hope you will. I'm surprised you didn't mention the discovered foundations of the Shushan Gate buried below the current Eastern Gate as a clue that the Eastern Gate's location hasn't changed. But I am a little concerned about where the placement of the Fort Antonio would be, as well as the lines-of-sight into the Temple area as recorded by historians. And I'm concerned with the fact that that there's an Ark-sized cutout in the rock under the Dome. Does your proposed Temple location comport with Leen Ritmeyer's positive identification of the corners of the original 500-cubit square? If we could positively identify the Red Heifer Bridge foundation remains, we might have even more proof. And how does the location of Warren's Gate align with all of this? (No need to answer any of this, I'm just wondering things out loud.)

What is the meaning to the title of The Book of Revelation? I think that speaks for itself! It means To Be Revealed!
I like to think of the party as the most important part in this country because it was the first time that I was a Muslim.
I bought your book and read the bibliography first and noticed that you did not use the Encyclopedia Judaica, Biblical Archaeology Review or a good illustrated Mishnah and feel that you missed out on a great deal of evidence that would have helped you. Christian sources of whatever nature are not the end all of your research nor should it be. Go to the top academic library or even Bible College in South Dakota and see if they have these resources. I think there are only a few hundred Jews in South Dakota so you may not have these resources because no one foresaw your future and its needs.
But all libraries will get you whatever books you ask them for... But I do agree with you that he did miss out on something. I don't know why, but I just feel it. I don't disagree with him where the temples were. Only about the springs going into it.

Arunaha's threshing floor is most likely buried 20 or more feet down from the existing surface. As is I believe all archaeology digs ?
Hi John, the book presents a lot of evidence to show that the Temple Mount has remained largely intact and not buried under 20 feet of rubble. The bedrock depth measurements of Charles Warren in the late 1800s did a lot to help prove that. And in any case, finding the threshing floor is still the best evidence you can have, and we should be looking for it. When you find a good candidate, it needs to be evaluated. The spends a whole chapter on that. The video just a few minutes. I hope you will take a look and then tell me what you think. Blessings!
@Castcreator1 Except that the bedrock is poking up out of the floor that was built by Hadrian for the temple of Jupiter. In fact, it's a simple deduction to say that the bedrock was actually used by the engineer who built the floor as one of his reference points. That means the flat area goes back to the time of the Second Temple, and of course if it was the threshing floor of Araunah, which I believe it was, then back to the First Temple, too. Is this starting to make sense, yet?

Are you open to any other locations? I've heard a strong argument that the temple was actually in the old city of David with the springs and running water right there needful for the sacrifices

I agree that the temple was in David. The argument of what we currently considered be the “Temple Mount” is in reality the Roman fort makes too much sense. It is almost exactly the Roman standard except slight alteration for some geological features. Also, the currently accepted “Temple Mount” needed an aqueduct to receive water, as it otherwise relied solely on cisterns.
Hi Jonny, thank you for asking about that. I only addressed the primary evidence for the Golden Gate in the video, but I spend an entire chapter on each of the opposing views and I critique the evidence that has been proposed for each of the other views. In fact, I found a total of 50 different temple placement views going back to 1684, so I really did look at everyone's ideas and looked for facts amongst a ton of false assumptions. The case is solid and it is all laid out in the book. I really hope you will get a copy and see how strong the evidence both for the location I am supporting and against the other locations. I address the water issue, the Roman fort issue, etc. And I give all of my references so that anyone can check what I'm saying. In fact, in most cases I just reproduce the whole quote in the book so people don't have to just believe me, they can read exactly what was written. Plus, just the evidence that I show in the video is very real, and without refutation, makes the case by itself. The example is that you find the murder weapon with the criminal's fingerprints on it. Do you care that the defense says it wasn't him because they have a receipt for him eating lunch across town at the supposed time of the murder?

The biggest problem with his argument is assuming it’s on the Temple Mount. It’s not. For one thing it has to be very close to the Gihon Springs as the gihon springs are mentioned in the bible as being close to the temple.
You are right and that is in Bethlehem, city of David and before that place laid the Jewish market, the third temple is a spritual tempel, not a building and offers can not be given as Jesus showed us and also that the secret is within us or Divine conciousness or the realisation that all is God ( I am~that~I am = being) sinn is the denial of that - being_
Check out my book if you really want to know why the City of David was only for the tabernacle, but not the Temple. I don't know that anyone has really spent the time to academically refute that premise before, but I'm pretty confident you would change your mind if you read the evidence I've assembled against the City of David location for the temple.
