I remember hearing about a fnaf movie being in the works waaay back in 2016 , 7 years later and I can't believe that an actual teaser came out, watching the trailer felt like a fever dream

Oh, trust me, the movie's in good hands. Blumhouse knows what they're doing, and Scott Cawthon himself was involved in the production. Plus, the animatronics are done by Jim Henson's Creature Shop, so how can you go wrong there?

William Afton is being played in this movie by Matthew Lillard, who played Shaggy in the live-action Scooby Doo movies (and recent cartoons). I'm sure he's gonna knock it out of the park.
I like how it looks. The retro style tv commercial styled tape, even the animatronics. I know some people complained about the eyes and the general look, but they were meant for a kid shows and meant to be kid friendly in appearance. Makes sense for them to look a lil silly. I am curious as to what the story is with him being there since it looks all run down. I know I shouldn't try to be like "In the games or in the books" since this will be it's own thing and doing that will just make the enjoyment factor go down, but seeing the place makes makes me wonder if it's been run down for a long time or more recently Actually kinda excited for this

Till now seeing our favorite actors being in it is a treat. Also I feel like that their might be RUclipsrs doing cameos in this movie. I hope the *King of Fnaf* be in this movie as a voice or appearance role in this horror movie.
RUclipsrs like Dawko were supposedly emailed the link by Scott before the trailer was publicly released. I don't think that means they'll be in the movie itself, though.

its cool even when this is not a great movie bec videogame movies arent always good but playing this game since 2012, a game that first only one guy created becomes a world wide success and made it all the way on top, its simple awesome 👍👌 (little afraid bec of the story telling, is this becoming a little children ghost animatronics or just animatronics with a coding problem?)

imo this looks really bad, like really? red eyes? alive kids? no gore? what even is that torturing devise? if the security guard is mike why isnt he covered in scares and rotted? if he is not him then why does he see that 5 children on grass analogy to 5 murders? this whole thing is just a mid movie with a lot of random referencess to fnaf games, i would rather preffer just a movie version of first three books over this because its really looking like some fan made video on youtube
Bruh....I think you're taking a 40 second teaser WAY too seriously. The red-eye aspect is meh...and it neither adds or subtracts to the effect for me. Alive kids? If you are talking about the scene of the group of kids running off in the woods, we do not know if they are alive or dead. It's a damn teaser that's not even a minute long. They aren't going to be putting any big plot points or twists in them. The teasers are just to get people hyped. The actual trailers that will drop in the near future will probably clarify more of the details. No gore? Again...this is just a teaser made to build hype. More detailed trailers will drop in due time. There is no way we could get ALL the little details for plot points and whatnot they are planning on using in a simple hype building teaser. So maybe don't take it so seriously and not judge it like it's a full blown release/trailer.
