Sandwell Provincial Park Gabriola Island BC - Virtual Walk - WalkingTour 4k

Virtual walk through Gabriola Islands beautiful Sandwell Provincial Park. The walk starts at the parking area and follows an access road past a locked gate. A few minutes later we descend down a set of stairs to the beach. We then do a beach walk to the west side of the beach and return by the access road that we pick up at its end. The beach is a lovely arc of loose gravel bordered by boulders . There are lots of washed up trees that one can rest against and take in he magnificent views of the Salish Sea (Georgia Straight). Looing north you can see the Sunshine Coast past Entrance Island and Bowen Island off to the northeast as well as Mount Baker to the direct east. Go for a swim, have a picnic, beachcomb, or just relax and take it all in. This is a beautiful and quiet beach to visit and a great place to relax.

I'm in North Florida which is
unlike South Florida.
We have cypress swamps and the
coastline rarely is rocky. We have
giant sinkholes and alligators.
I make trail videos and when I'm
not walking I'm seeing where others
are walking 🤔
