Also this song is designed to flow right after Ascend, you will notice the final notes of Ascend go right into the first notes of under my skin. “Thousands of souls that succumbed to ascension” also calls back to it but differently, one shows ascending willfully into higher power and the other being forced to ascend into the afterlife by the person who has reached ascension. Would also like to note that Divide Music was one of the producers which might be why he chose specifically to use the words “by our design” as a callback to DesigN
This is perfect!!!! Everytime that line comes in this astounding Song i remember everyone who died (also Manga deaths......). This song is, for me, an interpretation of what Jujutsu Kaisen is about: Life, Death, Love, Hate, Regret, Revenge, Good, Evil, Birth, Rebirth

The song ends with Sukuna "Ascending" and killing everyone in Shibuya; To Sukuna it was a moment of ecstasy, but to Yuji it was a horrific tragedy. Also in a broader sense, it could also mean how some people in the story could take death as a good thing because they are finally "at peace", but Yuji obviously does not see it that way.
Johnald has a really great sound, in particular the way he puts emotion into his voice reminds me a lot of Fabvl. I'll definitely say that if I ever wanted to show a nerdcore song to someone not familiar with the scene, I would probably choose a Johnald or Divide song because of how well they often stand regardless of context.
10:00 what i so fucking love about this: Yuji is struggling so much in Shibuya, with Choso being an Enemy who almost even killed him, and Yuji's decicions HIMSELF even led to Choso wanting to kill Yuji in the first place. You just cannot blame Choso for wanting to kill Yuji, revenging Eso and Kechizu, so that fight is just so fucking sick because both sides are right
I personally wish that people could watch videos without pausing it every few seconds, when watching it the first time. But okay, it's just me that get's a bit annoyed by that. The song is absolutely amazing, especially those lyrics!! ❤❤❤
