🏹 My Book Review: Round and Round the Year We Go is an absolute gem of a read-aloud! My pal Carter Higgins (formerly an elementary librarian) has created a lyrical tribute to the passing seasons, filled with poetic charm and warmth. And in my opinion, these illustrations are both pop art and homespun, akin to our own modern-day Eric Carle, and your students will love diving into the rhythm of the year through the illustration's childlike sophistication. A totally wonderful resource for teaching the seasons, New Year’s activities, and personal reflections (as an adult human, too!)
