Anri Sonohara it's like a different audience type/environment. they aren't exactly "fans" or the same type of people you'd see at concerts or showz like m countdown. there's like two ways to enjoy music respectfully. to be silent so the musician can have all the focus or to fan chant in a sensible way. my rationale at least haha

Ahhh...then I guess the wikipedia needs correction? It states, "Amber was born on September 18, 1992 in Los Angeles, California. Her parents are from Taiwan. She has one older sister named Jackie. She attended El Camino Real High School in Los Angeles prior to moving to South Korea to be a trainee under S.M. Entertainment."
She may have been born in Taiwan, actually...but she considers Los Angeles as her hometown. In her own words, " I was born on September 18, 1992. My hometown is Los Angeles in the United States and I have an older sister. SM Entertainment’s 2007 global audition was where I was cast for the agency. I had originally auditioned with a Korean friend but she didn’t make it."
Ailee is a total package singer!..she's doing great whatever she does and whoever she sang with...Kudos..I don't know about Amber but I like her/ his performance😊

Her, just in case you haven't found out yet thru someone else. Amber is a solo artist but also a member of girl group f(x) which is on hiatus for a few years now for a combination of reasons. She was SM's 1st tomboy allowed to keep her real persona on stage, as f(x) was meant to be different & attract more foreign fans by being an international group & the members all allowed to have individual images instead of just 1 group image. They've all left SM, but the group has said they plan to perform together again some time in the future.

Kathryn aka KitKat Actually Aille was lipsyncing, or she sang together with the studio audio, because you can see her forget her lines at 2:32-2:34. Yes they mostly sing live on this show, but they have backup audio, so they are not always live.
breadstal Do you even know what auto tune sounds like? And yes, I am familiar with sketchbook. This show doesn't allow artists to lip sync. Auto tune is probably only allowed if it's part of the song (in this case, it isn't, this is how the song normally sounds). If you look up mr removed versions of this performance, you can tell that this performance was 100% live.

Omg they have amazing chemistry. I love that they're so different yet so similar, i.e. Ailee presents as so feminine and amber dresses more tomboy-like but they're both forces of such positive energy, and so joyful on stage, they make me smile when they perform together.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but don't they lower the crowds' cheers when editing the video? I'm sure that the crowds are really loud and I'm pretty sure none of us want those cheers to block our way of listening to the singers and all. I think that the editors just used the audio from their mics and anywhere where the crowds cheers aren't heard.
