Ryujin actually didnt aim for the hard hitting choreo she said just wanted to have fun. The choreo actually have a meaning behind them. She's literally mocking the antis while she's having fun with the choreo.
I love that Chaeyeon went out there all by herself and she still filled the whole stage
I absolutely love the Chae sisters. Both performances are so good they both do exorcist moves getting off the floor like how and the intensity they look into my soul with omg!!!! Ryujin has amazing facial expressions and I love her outfits and the No she made with her hands and lips and that devil at the end that winks just so good. I love SinB she kills her performance my favorite of hers is Tap In its so fire!!!!

What's amazing about Chaeyeon's AOTM is that she doesn't make the studio "empty" even if she's alone. Also, her choreography is actually VERY taxing. Many have said that the choreo may seem easy but it strains your muscles a lot. According to Chaeyeon, she started getting cramps after the first shot so the most of the dance was taken while she's got muscle cramps lol but seriously, it would be nice to see her in AOTM again since after being in Street Woman Fighter, a survival show for professional dancers, she changed a lot (in a good way) and she's even more confident and fierce! It shows in her fashion and air. MCs pointed out that she was like a puppy who became a hunting dog lol
Sinb Killing it !! Her dance is so unique honestly, she makes it look so smooth and easy but it is not ! And also she is pretty new to like this kind of dance but still killed ! Chaeryoung did amazing too ❤️
Chaeyeon was the first AOTM for a reason, personally she´s my favorite
Chaeyeon is the only AOFT that dont have back up dancer and she has also b side dance (instruction)
Choreography 16 shot by chaeyeon is so different from the others. I think it has high difficulty

Yessss, I feel like Sinb is under appreciated with dance ! She’s a smooth dancer . She makes it look easy even tho it’s not . I mean , almost no one ever wanted to do Gfriend choreo because of how hard it is

Both Chae Sisters, SinB, Soojin and Ryujin all had Choom videos. This is why I love their artist of the month series. Also I've gotten to see some artists I wasn't familiar with and they're so cool
Thank you for appreciating sinb! She's one of the featured who showed different sides and style. What she did there was very different from what we see in GFriend yet she maintained her technicality.

A little trivia about juyeon’s aotm!
At the time of preparing for that performance he said he was in a rlly bad slump with his dancing. So he wanted his perf to be portrayed as a struggle that he overcomes. Where he comes out as the king. Thats why the feathers in his hair is shaped to be a crown, the first half of the dance is so eerie, and the camera “bows” to him at the end.
Mihawk, one of their regular choreographers, also mentioned that when they were choreographing for this aotm he rediscovered his love for his craft (bc he was going through some doubts as well).
Im so happy you appreciate SinB's artist of the month entry. Even tho it is not one of the most viewed AOTM.. sinb was able to showcase her dancing skills here with a choreo very different to their usual GFRIEND genre

Ryujin has my fav performance ever. She really showed us why she’s the center, her charisma is amazing. Also I agree, Chaeyeon’s capabilities are over basically all female idols in third and fourth gen (not including stage presence) so I do wish she went harder with her performance, but I guess also because it was the first AOTM they might’ve been playing it safe/and or didn’t think to experiment much since there wasn’t anything to compare to?? But either way I loved her performance too!

I feel like a lot of persons tend to lean towards the sexy kinds of concept for the artist of the month but for Sinb she said she wanted people to see different sides to her. She's really skilled in popping and hip hop and we don't really see many idols doing Hip Hop concepts so I think it was a great choice for her to do.

It's such a beautiful thing to be able to see each of their personalities and dance styles in these dances. For me Chaeryoungs is the one I felt the most. I think she's so underrated as a dancer. She learned to focus on technique from her sister but since she's younger she was able to be a little more silly and goof off. That I think gave her the freedom to really feel the music and let it move her. Her perfection is not in the technique like
Chaeyeon but in the musicality mixed with precision. Ryujin is all about attitude, swag and wanting everyone to know who she is with her dance. Yeji is about strength and wanting to show gg or bg dances to her are no different she can do both. Chaeyeon is a dance genius with her ability to learn quickly, remember whatever she learns and do it perfectly. They are all equally amazing and no one style I better than the other because they are all needed but I just prefer Chaeryoungs style and I so wish she was appreciated more for it. Just my opinion though, love them all!

U-know is such a skilled dancer. His musicality is actually insane. His song Eeny Meeny is to me one of the best choreo's in kpop. I feel choreography doesn't always need to be strong and hard hitting to be impressive. Thank you for reacting to it

I love AotM so much. It's such a good platform for the dancers in groups to really flex their talent outside of the structure of their company or group concept, and for someone like me who watches every month regardless of whether I know the artist or not it's a great little intro into some new groups.
My absolute favourite so far is Juyeon (I am a Deobi, but I swear that's not why - several artists I follow have been AotM). It's so animalistic. I think it's really snake-like, kind of menacing and a little threatening, but you can't take your eyes off it, like it demands your attention from start to finish, even the kind of jerky and smooth switch ups in his movements. He and the choreographer did an amazing job.
