I've had mine for over a month. It was like opening a beautiful gift. I love the entire set. Great presentation & worth the wait. I don't love all of the cards but that's the case in most of the decks I own. I probably won't trim until the gilding wears. Thank you for the walk through. I enjoy your comments and sense of humor!
Thank you very much for the review...appreciate it. I decided to go with the keywords so that they would be of help to anyone who was new to tarot, a complete beginner. I know not everyone likes keywords on decks, but that was the reasoning behind including them. :-) xx
Sorry in advance if this turned into an essay! This arrived for me last night. My feelings are a little mixed, but leaning toward good. I adore a lot of the 2-10s. The number cards in the swords especially blew my mind in a really good way. 2 of Coins was one of my favorites, too. Each suit has a strong color scheme of its own, and did so in a way that felt natural. That gold gilding was a nice touch. It was nice to see a "hard rocking" figure holding an appropriate guitar. That's a personal bias. There are some wonderful sanity checks in the guidebook. The author does seem to approach reading from a very grounded and responsible perspective. It was great to slow down and enjoy those sections of the book. Three of the majors repeated their own names in the keywords: Justice, Judgment, Perspective (Hanged Man). I felt mixed about that. One thing to note: The backs are not symmetrical. If you read with reversals then you will be able to see the cards that are facing different directions. The book makes no mention of reversals, either. This could be a deck that is meant to be read upright. If I do modify this deck then I won't trim it. I'll find a pen or marker that won't bleed, then scribble correspondences into the borders. I lean toward liking it. I'll need to see how it reads before making a final decision.
I got this deck and haven’t opened it yet. I don’t know why anyone would put borders on their tarot deck, it extremely takes away from the art. It’s a distraction and frankly most people would rather not have borders. I’m gonna have to trim mine which is a shame bc the guilding is very nice. It’s ridiculous they misspelled Judgement…also the titles of the cards are way too big as well..looks corny that big of words. This deck has beautiful art but wow it could’ve been wayyyyy better
Beautiful deck! I don’t have any quite like this one, and I’m contemplating it. BTW- the Six of Wands is a gold medal with the fire effects. Different way of demonstrating victory and being honored, I guess. Thanks for another walk-thru and review, TO!
I like this one. I liked the other deck that she did too , but was not found of the court cards the way that they were depicted . I always use the cards until the edging begins to fall off from me shuffling , and then I trim them and re edge them with marker. It's a beautiful deck .
Not all the cards work for me, but I like it! The book looks great. I am not crazy about the borders, but I would hate to lose that beautiful gliding. All in all, I would buy it. Thank you for sharing it and looking forward to seeing in use during your streams💙
I was really excited by the cover artwork but the deck is totally different. It's a real mish mash of styles - the borders and keywords remind me of the Doreen Virtue/Radleigh Valentine tarot decks and the images are a weird mix of photo realism and drawn. Glad I waited and didn't buy based on the cover and promo images.
Ehhh. I liked the Ace of Cups and the world card but it’s not my style. The box it came in is beautiful 🤩 It’s my favorite turquoise shade. The artwork doesn’t call me for some reason. Thank you for sharing 🤗
I actually really like this deck -- except for the borders, those borders are pretty dang thick! But the gilding is beautiful, so it'd be a shame to trim at the expense of the gilding.
I looooove this deck. I even love the borders. It is one of a kind. My soul deck ❤️
Fingers crossed for a borderless edition in the future

Beautiful cards! As a new tarot reader I love the keywords.
This is one of a kind deck. It is absolutely stunning! ❤️

It’s not here in England yet , I’m not sure what I think of it to be honest. I was looking forward to this one but now I don’t think it’s for me

Thank you for showing us. I just purchased it and it will be here tomorrow! So excited for this deck
Do you have. A walk through of the drama tarot?
That's a beautiful deck and love, love, love the book it's going to be fantastic to read with.

I love this deck…..it’s a great reader!
The 6 of cups/box card reminds me of another deck... can't think of what it's called.
I searched... dreaming way

When you trim the cards, how do you do it? A cutting board?
Scissors
Torn - some of the art is beautiful but a lot of it feels a bit overdone. And I don’t like the borders. Keywords are okay. The book is awesome!!
I know you trimmed this. Do you have a walk-through of the trimmed deck? I would love to see that
I just use scissors, and am very careful

I was expecting a different art based on the art on the box. I'm a bit disappointed. Don't like the big borders and text either.
Such a shame of the borders
Still waiting in the UK (release date 26 May). Really like the art but those birders and keywords.....I think I'll pass.
