  • In this talk Paul explains the future of our world through demographic data points. Dr. Paul Morland was educated at Oxford University and was awarded his PhD from the University of London. He has published three books on demography, including his latest, Tomorrow's People: The Future of Humanity in Ten Numbers, where he shows how demography is both a powerful and an under-appreciated lens through which to view the global transformations that are currently underway.     If you apply for a job to deliver siutcases in a European airport you most likely won't get a job. So that example is less about democraphics and more about high tax wellfare states making simple labour uneconomical for the private sector.

      I think the point is that taxes are high on workers to support the aging population.
