Literally no other country is as fair as this. We have current, past, and potential future presidents each fighting for different rights provided by the constitution and other laws. The Supreme Court is determining, as neutrally as possible, a standard to be set forth and will affect not only the current election but future generations.
This is literally the checks and balances working as intended. Our system isn't perfect, but it's much more transparent and righteous than someone like Russia.

Which is exactly what we don't want! We don't want presidents who don't have to follow the law. What if Biden decided to start confiscating guns? Illegal? Nope! Official presidential act! Not unless you impeach and convict! Good luck getting a Democratic Senate to convict! You need 60 votes. No one has ever been able to convict in the Senate! Do those on the right want that? • @ericwillison4011
      @ericwillison4011 29 дней назад +7

This was asked and answered earlier. It would be an illegal order because no one can debate that killing Supreme Court justices which are organized under article 3 of the United States Constitution could possibly be legal.
However, when there are allegations of voter fraud, it is the duty of the president to investigate those. And he must investigate those whether those help him or hurt him. That's part of the oath he took.
It's even true when Obama orders the drone strike upon an American citizen living in Yemen who had never even been charged in a criminal court. It was like lynching without the rope. But since Obama was doing it as the president and because his intelligence people had told him that this guy was a terrorist and an immediate threat to the United States, then Obama should get immunity from criminal and civil charges. And I say that as a Trump supporter. The trouble is that you leftists can't see it the other way.

It is customary to refer ex-presidents as "President" The first time in the writing or conversation that you refer to them. That way you can alert the person you are speaking to that you are talking about the president with that last name. For instance, many people have the last name of Jefferson or Adams. If you start talking about Mr Jefferson or Mr Adams, people will not know whether you are talking about the president or somebody else with that name. Once you first refer to them as President Adams, from then on you can use the term Mr Adams.
You may argue that everybody knows that you're talking about President Trump, when you say Trump, but that isn't true either. There are several famous people with the last name Trump now. Trump's uncle was a famous scientist who took control over all of Nikola Tesla's inventions once he passed away.
Eric Trump is a prominent businessman.
Donald Trump Jr is a prominent businessman and political pundit.
Donald Trump's father was a famous New York City builder in the Bronx.
Calling Mr Trump presidents the first time You referred to him is grammatically and stylistically proper and it serves an important purpose.

When you put quotes around something, it means that you are saying exactly what he said. But of course that is not what he said.
He was saying to find him more votes that were ineligibly cast.
In fact, what Trump knew but you don't, is that if the votes found were ineligibly cast for Biden or Trump so long as that number of votes ineligibly cast exceeded the margin of the election, then the Georgia election under Georgia law would have had to have been reversed and a second one held at the same time that the one that was held for the Senate took place.
So Trump wasn't saying find me more votes for me. He was saying investigate, as is that person's duty, and find enough ineligibly cast votes to require a new election.

Didn't Trumps lawyer say this could be considered an official act? What would stop a president from installing himself as king? He would have full immunity with the military in his pocket, right? @@rotunda_ Well, polling appears-by & large-to be flawed; and has been for many years now. Ask Hillary how accurate the polls are, right? RESULTS from elections going back to 2020 speak for themselves. The numbers of American women alone (pissed about abortion rights) who will turn out in November is enough to overcome Trump's base of fools & half-wits, then add in all other demographics and, well.... it should be "mighty blue!"

If the court decides against Trump, then cool....then we can go after Biden, Obama, Bush and Clinton!! We should also be able to go after any other government official(elected or not), people like Hillary, Fauci, Mayorkas, Pelosi, McConnell, Johnson, Schumer, Nadler, Swalwell etc.,!

So based on the outcome, does it apply to former presidents ? Does a particular president get prosecuted for a particular drone strike that occured?

I'm shocked that this was a fair and almost unbiased report. I'm sorry but I assumed that this was going to be a Racial Madcow type rant.
