Definitely learned a lot from it and you rode her perfectly, just letting her canter through and make her own mistakes! Bear: .... a bounce of planks?? Do you have a death wish Meg? 😂 Jammy my favourite: was a clever girl!! I think she learned the most from the cross pole bounces because like you said, she had to stay straight and couldn’t make more space for herself by drifting. SOOO excited to see you out competing with the girls 🥰🥰
Maybe this should be a regular exercise for Dee? This looks very similar to what you where doing with Diva, Holly. And it certainly improved her rushing-fences tendency. PS I so enjoy Meg and Holly collabing.
I agree with all you have said, Holly. Dee will probably ride better after doing more exercises like this. 'Back to basics'. Bear's look was priceless... But, we wouldn't have Bear any other way 🙂 Jam has clearly had time to grow up and get stronger during her time off. And what I did notice was that Megan's jumping lesson on her was far better than the vlog I've watched earlier this evening, and in such a short space of time. I can seriously see Jam becoming top horse at this rate. Can't wait to see how she progresses in the weeks and months to come 😊🐎🐴
Great vlog. I had to smile - your chestnut 'neighbour' had obviously said to his field mate "you best come and watch - she's riding Bear now - this will be good". Bear didn't disappoint, bless her. The UK changes their clocks a week or two earlier. Scandinavia does it around the same time bc you're very close to each other on latitude. Fun fact, the UK is farther north than anywhere in America. If I recall correctly, America is planning to get rid of daylight savings time, no clue when but there have been a lot of talks about it.

De definitely improved and I think Bear well I think she understands that she has a audience she has to show off for and she is giving them something to remember while she goes on maternity leave and then there is Jam who tries her heart out even though she has never seen planks but I think out of all three we have Bear the comedian and De just loves the fast life and Jam likes to be safe and being the teachers pet but they were all good girls also I think Jam has an old eventer brain in a young horse body I think we need more of these one because it teaches everybody and gives ideas to people who have a mental block when it comes to schooling over poles so thank you
I loved this vlog and It was fun to see all the ponies learning experience in this jumping vlog ( one thing does jam have a bit of Arabian in her bc I saw her tail stick up when you guys did the jump like an Arabian or do all horses do that)
I'm going to my first show on my new horse who we got in October last year where I live there wasn't any shows and we couldn't do any xc bc of England weather and thankfully we can go for a show in two days quite nervous 😅😬

My horse rushes jumps a lot and I found if you put 2 canter poles a jump then 2 more canter poles, it helps keep them slow
