my ONLY disapproval is the one LFO. Obviously they cant fit every desired feature in, but that one more LFO, i strongly feel, would be key. I guess we should consider ourselves lucky to have a VCO poly with continuously variable waveforms. ( and modern stability, MIDI, patch saving)
I have a P6 and find its filter to have a very inspirational sound that suits my tastes perfectly. I would say the same for the OB6 but I had to choose which one I'd buy first. Maybe next year... Also, the REV2 is quite something of its own too. More so than the P'08.
You can get something like a moogerfooger filter, run your P6 through that for paraphonic uses at least, to get some filter flavor variety. The P6 oscillators are rich enough, and the moog filter is classic enough, that even though they werent designed for each other, i think the combination would be very pleasant and useful.
Fantastic patches for a brilliant machine... currently my favorite synth for pads and strings, I just love that classic Prophet sound. I wish you could do some sound designs for the Modal electronics 008, it's a beast, but it needs your help in the patch department
Buy both. Life’s too short not to. I bought the OB-6 recently and the Prophet is next on my list. Aside from nearly identical features, they both have their own sonic character to them. So that’s why I can’t have one and not the other. I wanted to buy the Pro-3 before the Prophet. But since the Prophet 6 has been out for the past 5 years, I’d rather buy it while they’re still in production.
Just got a P6 and love it. My two cents: decide if you want two filters or one variable state filter. I wa dead set on the OB for months and then had an epiphany one day: the P6 may not *quite* have the filter of the OB-6, but the P6 filters can self oscillate and overall the P6 seems a bit more versatile as a workhorse. So I got the P6 and not looking back.
Inhalt you’re one of the most gifted, musical synth programmers out there. If you could only have one modern DSI synthesizer (Pro 2, Rev2, OB6, Prophet 6 or Poly Evolver) as your studio centerpiece which would you choose? Appreciate your input and feedback. Cheers 🥂
Sounds good, I would like to purchase this. However, I already have some sound packs on my P6. Do you know in which bank this is positioned once uploaded to the prophet? which preset numbers?
These patches are amazing, buying a Prophet 6 very soon and will definitely need these! Are these recorded directly into your audio interface or did you use a preamp? I'm trying to decide if a preamp (considering a Pacifica) will make my Prophet 6 recordings sound better.
Gator Goforth on Mac you can use Sysex librarian ... connect the prophet 6 via usb and make sure the synth is set to receive midi over usb. Select its USB port in Sysex librarian and send it the file ... patches load into bank 300
INHALTVIDEO Well, I just bought an Eventide Orville, Sherman FB, and am filling a modular rack, haha. I still need a Kemper amp for guitar, too! I’m a little maxed out here, haha.
i approve everything on this channel, both the music played, and the equipment used.

@@marvinkmooneyoz I've been having fun with mine adding LFOs over MIDI. Working pretty well so far!
These are absolutely phenomenal patches.
prospectnyc thank you!
I really love that patch at 3:46. it reminds me of the drones liz harris makes on her grouper records.
Thanx for showing how the synth sounds without fx. Some patches at least.
👍👍
Superb music!! I listen to all your music all the time & please keep them coming!!
Izzy Doroski thank u. More’s on the way

Great Patches! Imma getting them one of these days soon. :D
Joe Rainey thank you. Geddem while they’re hot ;-)
Would love to have these patches to the AS-1, though its monophonic.
Really torn between this and the OB. Have really zero clue, they’re both beautiful and I can’t afford both!

Nice patches! :)
Sean Christopher - Evoking Emotion Through Music thank you.
warm patches
twfarland it’s getting cold in the north bay ... thank you!
Rather cold here in Estonia, too! Nothing a good sawtooth can't assuage.
twfarland assauge ... a sausage ... sausage (vegan too) can fix the cold as well.
Anagrams, eh? Love your guys music btw, first one I heard was 'Vehicle.' It really works on a dancefloor.
twfarland thank you. We just wrapped the next ep. Sorting release date out for next year.

Oscar Roberto Brouwer it loads into bank 300

Pharmacymusic1 a preamp is always good
@@INHALTVIDEO Did you use a preamp for this video?
Pharmacymusic1 yes
@@INHALTVIDEO Thanks, I just got the Pacifica, hope I can get as good quality as you have on these sounds!
No banks for the Rev2?? Would love to hear what you do with that!!
Not yet. But maybe in the future.
@@INHALTVIDEO Love your work! Dying to hear what you come up with!
The melody at the very beginning has something to do with Jean Michel Jarre's Millions of Stars....right???
Its from "Mister X" by Ultravox.
How to load patches made for bank 3 into bank 4 ?
augie augie I think u need the software librarian for that.
how do i transfer the patches to my hardware synth?
Gator Goforth on Mac you can use Sysex librarian ... connect the prophet 6 via usb and make sure the synth is set to receive midi over usb. Select its USB port in Sysex librarian and send it the file ... patches load into bank 300
Q.PLAYS you can use C6 on windows from Elektron www.elektron.se/support/?connection=analog-four
My face is a patch
Can the patch at 8:07 be replicated accurately on the OB-6? Trying to decide between the two. Great work, thank you. Happy Halloween 🧛🏿♀️
Ryan Palma there’s a similar patch in the OB6 bank.
I’m having such a hard time deciding between p6 or ob6 🧛🏿♀️
Ryan Palma get modules of both :-)
INHALTVIDEO Well, I just bought an Eventide Orville, Sherman FB, and am filling a modular rack, haha. I still need a Kemper amp for guitar, too! I’m a little maxed out here, haha.
Ryan Palma if you need euro modules I’m getting rid of my rig.
