Hey! I'm sorry about that but from what I recall, HKBU should be providing all exchange students housing. Here is the link to their website for off campus housing: sa.hkbu.edu.hk/sas/living-off-campus/off-campus-housing-alternatives
I am applying for HKBU, but I'm afraid that I'm a Buddhist, so can I ask is there any engagement of Christian religion into the school in all aspects? Thank you so much
Yes, each floor has its own lounge with kitchen! It would be best to buy a pan/pot to share with friend(s) so you can cook together if you want! There’s also a shared fridge and also one in the dorm room! Hope that helps :D
hey! do you think HKBU is a competitive school for business education (major in information systems)? how many international students are there? thank u in advance :3
Hello~ I can’t really say much about the major you are interested in, but from what I gather so far, HKBU is a pretty strong school for the liberal arts! I’m sure business major is competitive at this uni but I’ve been here for only 2 months so I don’t know ;-; In terms of international students, I recall the tour guide telling me that there were about 200 last semester which included students who study for a full year and one semester exchange students. I’m sure it’s more than that for this semester. That’s all I can tell you; hope that helps!
Hi Renee I want to ask about dormitory. Does international student automatically get a dorm at HKBU? If yes, how much will it cost? Is the dorm for only sharing? Thank you
Hello , I am a high school student who is plannning to apply to HKU for next year fall . It would be grateful if you could solve few queries of mine My grades are enough to get admit into HKU and get 100 percent tuition fee waiver and allowance however on the website the exact amount of allowance is not mentioned so do you have any rough idea of how much allowance do HKU generally give or is it dependent on the financial conditional of candidate ? How much minimum funds are required to live in hong kong as a student ( annually in HKD ) ? And is it also true that they provide dorm only for first two years ?
Hi, sorry but I did a study abroad program at Baptist Uni and not HKU, so I do not have much information about that! I know that @Keo Tsang on RUclips might be able to answer your questions better!
@@withluvrenee oh ok ! btw do you have any information regarding how much amount is enough to show as a proof of fund to get student visa of hong kong ? ( and is it lower for those students who get scholarship ) ?
@@avengergamingzone6887 hello! We had to show that we had acceptance letter to the school in order to apply for student visa! Not monetary value! Hope that helps!
@@withluvrenee but in general student visa requires proof of fund which can atleast bear the expense of student for one year ( in most of the cases like america or britain ) and even in student visa form of hong kong there is a separate page to fill the total amount of expected expense and proof of fund like bank account balance . So in your case nothing like that was asked ? both on the form and interview ? Are you mainland chinese ? maybe that's why
