How did this drugs were introduced to these villagers 😢 as a person growth up in town i always admire village people for their hard work and simple lifestyle but things are changing , this needs to be stopped anyhow!

It was introduced during the British rule. The britishers were never able to conger the hill tribes of the northeast esp the tribes of noktes in Arunachal ,the hill tribe of Nagas . History has it that when they first came in contact with those tribes with their advanced war machinery , those hill tribal already had their own local guns . The britishers were shocked and at the same time intimated and doubtful that the hill tribals will outmatch them and thus they started to introduce the opium to these areas. Lucky for the britishers and unlucky for the hill tribals that they started loving opium.
