I haven't spotted any black skimmer chicks yet, but I just can't get too close to them. Have to ask one of the people that work here. They go over with binoculars every day. If they spot any checks, they will shut down the circle. Please be careful in the heat friend. I haven't checked the temperatures up in Amarillo, but it's pretty nasty here.

If that hotel was still standing, it would be the biggest thing in town. Very generous gift from Todd and Betty is one of my favorite people in the world. I always enjoyed staying at the Hampton Inn. I haven't stayed there since the hurricane Harvey remodel, but the rooms were very nice and it had a pool and sauna. Decent breakfast. We like to look at the fish in the tanks there.
