Papyrus didn't mind that Gaster was draining his power, he only interrupted because Gaster was destroying his own soul. Also don't forget to watch Hate origins and Gaster's origins after the Season 2 Finale
the terrifying thing is that wasnt gaster at full power sans and papyrus would need to not exist or gaster would have to kill papyrus to go all out i truly fear gaster a monster among monsters
@@lucygardiner7594 cami said them being alive takes his magic and said that hes at his strongest without them since boss monsters give their magic to their kids
40:50 close but not quite. he was draining papyrus's magic for a boost while doing it but he was pushing himself so far without caring for the consequences that gaster was actually cracking his own soul, not papyruses
Now that you've seen this episode, several people collaborated to make an animation called Descended Scientist which covers Gaster's beatdown of Betty but even more brutal, and not by a small amount either. You should watch it, even if it's not a reaction.
40:30 soooo.. Gaster was draining Papyrus Soul but he pushed himself so much that his own soul started to break and 34:30 is Rhabdophobia, Betty takes control of all magic attacks in range and he used it before vs Gaster first encounter and Undyne Spear Spam (sorry for the bad English)
Definitely gotta be my favorite episode of the series! So many epic and amazing moments in it that made sense and flowed nicely. Minor spoiler: I feel as if the final episode used this body of hate (the creepy pink and black goop girl with the smile and her hair flowing) it could’ve been way more unique and satisfying, instead of the rout it went with Hate looking just like a normal dude for some reason. Just a character design detail that could’ve made it a lot better
I love the snap scene because it was so perfectly build. Every detail pushing Gaster to the limit, trying to hold back his composure as much as possible, but as they say, "always fear the wrath of a quiet man", sooner or later, everyone reaches the point when they just snap and say "f*ck it all".
Btw, there is something else made by undertlae fandom I have to recomend. Comic? Animation? I am not sure. "The thought movie" is its name. Not many people done reaction to that. You will be one of the few.
You see Sans is Gasters son and when to monster have a child that kid is born with 50 percent of each parents magic while the parents magic will recharge back to 100 percent if their kid dies they regain an extra 50 percent. That is what happened to Gaster when Sans died, however he also was able to absorb Papyrus' magic, too.
I'm uncertain if the lore of Glitchtale is different, but in Undertale this is only the case for boss monsters. Essentially, a boss monster is effectively immortal (meaning they cannot die of old age) until they have a child, in which case their magic will slowly flow from parent to child as the child grows and the parents age. If the child of a boss monster dies, their magic will return to their parents and the parents will stop aging, such is the case with Asgore and Toriel when Asriel died in the original game. Gerson will explain all of this if you talk to him at the end of the game, literally telling Frisk that “since Asgore doesn't have a kid, he's been stuck at the same age” and “if Asgore is your father, (foster father to a human child) he's definitely gonna outlive you”. If this is unchanged in the glitchtale lore, that would mean Gaster is a boss monster, which is something I'd definitely be willing to believe given how powerful he is in this series.
While Papyrus' soul was being drained he did not say anything about it once, smart enough to realize it was Gaster's doing, and to a point, Papyrus was willing to let all of his magic get drained and even perish if necessary, if it meant Gaster would wipe Betty, unfortunately, from the sheer pressure of using so much magic at once, Gaster's own soul cracked slightly, Papyrus only THEN Yelled to stop Gaster, not because he was being drained, but because Gaster was hurting himself and was almost even about to end himself, Papyrus had almost no value for his OWN life at that point, he's beyond nice, words cannot comprehend or explain such a thing
Hey Steven, you should react to Smx vs Sans,it has two different "parts". The first one is called as I said and its 30 minutes long more or less, the second one has a 1 hour and thirty minutes movie. Keep up the good work man!
34:02 better used this power against undyne and gaster during their first fight it's called Rhapdophobia (fear of magic i believe) and yeah it just steals any magical abilities they have active and she can use it when her hair is fully pink which the pink comes from when betty herself is afraid
her determination transformed her once and with her body being more physical now it could handle even more determination and managed a 2nd transformation
Amazing reaction, glad you liked it as flawed as it is
The Animation is Awesome & I didn't think or see any wrong with it. Keep up the Awesome work
