From their first appearance on Ed Sullivan when I was five yrs. Old I studied Everything I could find on them. All of the mags my older brothers brought home,,, every record, EVERYTHING!!! So I sort of lived it. And it was FANTASTIC. Being born in 1957 I was privileged to have been raised on THE BEST MUSIC IN HISTORY!!!
I'm right behind you having been born in 1959 .. my early childhood memories are of watching the Ed Sullivan Show with my parents and older brother & sister who were in their teenaged years .. so I was able to learn the lyrics, singing along to the records they bought. It's not a coincidence that I work in the music industry. Music has brought me more joy in life than anything else. The Beatles are the reason!
The thing about Day Tripper is it's so quintessential Beatlely!! You got terrific vocals, a great riff, great bass sound and solid beat from Ringo. AND can you believe the other side of the 45 was We Can Work It Out. Double A side indeed! All done in the middle of recording Rubber Soul. Take that "Beatles are overated" people!
Lol!!! Me & My Young Friends who We’re Beatles Fanatics. We had absolutely NO clue what any kind of “Trippin” was but the music would addict a tone deaf toad!!! We thought the lead guitar was like Hendrix on An Energy Drink at the time. My brother played it note for note , never missing a lick on The Air Guitar!!! Never heard a Beatles song I did not like except of course when John let his concubine try some of Her avant-garde BSS!!! My Mother About Had A Heart Attack. She was screaming” Turn that crap off of their!!!
good documentary with a few errors but the recording session for Please please me album was not 53 hours. That would be impossible and also far too expensive for a new band. It was a 12 hour session
For Bass Players Only, wow Ellen great 👍 amazing interview, it was so nice getting to know you better thru what you said, KEEP GROOVING GIRL, you make so many people happy and amazed, a huge fan I am cheers 🍻 😊
Isn't Stu's head injury from that big fight with some teddy boys that was the thing which ended up killing him not long after his time with Johnny and the Moondogs? Just fishing for a possible connection here.
Of course 6:24 is a myth that they had written 100 songs other wise they wouldn't have gone back to doing covers after the only Beatle LP with all Beatle written songs to that point their 3rd, A Hard Day's Night. Lots of old canned "myths" in this piece. 👀
Some wrong information on this film. Neil Aspinall attended The Institute with Paul and George So he was no stranger to them nor introduced by Pete Best I expected far better from the usually brilliant Beatles Bible
I had a teacher in grade eighth by the name of pat boardmore I am seventy three and still remember her. I am a huge Beatles fan. But I remember my teacher remembering that John was dirty. Oh well such was a teen
Everyone is glad they got rid of Pete. Like George tried to say... Ringo was a much better fit all-around. They just wouldn't have been so FUN without Ringo!
I believe Paul was the reason nearly every member of the Quarrymen/Beatles quit the band? Ringo even quit in 1968 because of Paul telling him how to play drums, and George in 1969 because Paul telling him what to play on guitar. Everyone knows Paul use to give Stuart a hard time until he events quit. Paul was very sneaky and back stabbing.
It's getting silly what youtubers think they have to sensor. They blur out words like rape, sexual abuse, suicide, assault, ect, ect. As if those words are going to trigger someone watching.
Except for the robo-voices all getting their inflections completely wrong, not a bad video but, it just stops dead at the end! No final paragraph or closing just, boom, it's over! You're left hanging! Next time, get someone that KNOWS how to use the language...like me!
Pete Best was indeed fired. The others had wanted to get rid of him for some time. He was only let into the group because they needed a drummer to go to Hamburg, and he was the only one they knew was available. They were never impressed with his playing, especially after they saw the drummer for Rory Storm and the Hurricanes-one Richard Starkey, aka Ringo Starr.
@@7JANEWAYPlease go onto RUclips and watch the upload by "Brightmoon Liverpool" called "Why Pete Best was NOT Fired By Brian Epstein Or The Beatles". The host gives a very convincing argument. It seems Brian Epstein and The Beatles fernagled Pete Best into joining another band!

I can't stand these AI voices just listen how the computer says the words. I will never watch anything by these people anymore. Don't insult my intelligence with this electronic voice never I am 71 years old and you got a lot of stuff wrong.
Plus Pete Best couldn’t play very well, he was NO Ringo! But the Beatles gave him over a million pounds. So he ended up with some money. Even though he really wasn’t a Beatle the way Ringo was, the Ringo riffs on the drums are special.
I believe George should have been fired! George was truly a lousy Guitar player. I'm sure there were many other Guitarists in Liverpool much better than George Harrison! What I find so disgusting is that George admitted that he never practiced! He would complain about being a Beatle and being famous! In a nutshell, George is lucky he knew James Paul McCartney!
Not going to disagree much, except that he was a good guitar player. Certainly he didn't have near the solo career the others had. He was also a bench warmer in The Traveling Wilburys.

Neil Asppinall era amigo de Liceu de Paul e George, não foi apresentado pelo Pete Best! Já se conheciam e muito bem!

This is really quite well done... Excellent work!

He might have suffered a concussion!
Did John, Paul and Pete not want to divulge what really happened?
Possibly when Paul jumped him in their fight.
Is it possible "Moondog" sucker punched Stu?
John was a cowardly lout!
@@karaamundson3964 Really?! Compared to being repeatedly kicked in the head by teddy boys? Nice try
Very Pleasantly surprised at how good this is - Thank you ! (.... next time use British AI voices to narate about the Beatles )
So many things wrong

Yeah. Either that or the songs weren't any good. Mike Williams uses that as evidence that the Beatles didn't write their songs at all. Lol
Finally listening to this and enjoying it. I should have done this earlier!
I can see why the 'Streets' have called their album: 'Pirate Radio'....
Damn, that was very informative. Just facs.

The only thing wrong with this is the use of the AI Beatles' voices, lol. Other than that, well done, mate!
Approved 👍
LMAO i never realized John Lennon was goth

Or had such an awesome drummer.
Two-hour video; starting with a mistake in the first sentence. Lennon was still 16 in the summer of 1957. That's it for me.
He was 16... turned 17 in October
Yes, he was almost 17. Not a big error at all.
I know what you mean.
Unfortunately, even Peter Jackson had some lame errors in the background section of “Get Back”. Very unprofessional.
Another Error at 04:32 there is no such place as Menlove Road anywhere in Liverpool only Menlove Avenue, so this video is just full of errors 😂😂😂

what the hell does that mean?
Good story. Much I didn't know. Didn't really appreciate the pop-up images of Faul, though...
"fault" most ridiculous conspiracy ever! Easily!
Too many mistakes and misinformation, electronic robot narration, not a serious or accurate piece of work.

Very skewed and uncharitable depiction of Paul. Clearly whoever created this doesn’t much care for Paul McCartney.
This is good. But what tf happened to the narrator 1 hour and 18 minutes in??? The first guy was easier to understand. The 2nd guy needs a drink.
