ALL( financial [country] ) removes all filters of financial [country] ) in the visual and slicer. ALLSELECTED( financial [country] ) ignores any filter of financial [country] ) in the visual level, but include any filter of financial [country] ) in the slicer. ALLEXCEPT( financial, financial [country] ) ignores all filters, except filters of financial [country] ) financial [country] )
Thanks for the explanation Ann! .Yes ,if you see the video we have tried explaining the same using some screenshots for all these 3 Dax functions together for easy understanding.
@@powerbizone Indeed. I learn that from your video explanation. And wrote the note to make my future revision easier. Thanks for the video. Keep up the good work! BTW, I would like to see more videos about modifying CALCULATE filter context.
Could you please help me understand: ALLSelected(financial[country]) ignores any filter in the visual level visual level? But it includes Filter of financial['slicer'] at Slicer level. What I found is when I select Year, the values for ALLSelected gets changed. That means, any filter coming from outside e.g. Slicer (even if it belongs to any field) will be accepted. So, what is the benefit of mentioning Country inside ALLSElected?
