This was the first season that the Warriors had those "The City" uniforms. 76ers were just a bit too good for the Warriors. Great to see the Cow Palace, the Warriors home for most of the time between the fall of 1962 and the spring of 1971. It got used again, though, in the 1975 NBA Finals against the Washington Capitols, for the first two Warrior wins as they swept the series 4-0 for their first NBA Championship on the West Coast. So, is it San Francisco's or Oakland's. KPIX TV said back then it was San Francisco's, as they did play those finals in the Cow Palace.
