    This week's video is very different from any I've made so far! Come join me (and Joli) as I turn my living room into an ACTUAL indoor jungle 🌿
    I "popped" plants everywhere!
    House plants are so beautiful to look at, and surrounding yourself with indoor plants has many amazing health benefits (both mental health and physical health). Making sure you place your plants in areas that they will still be able to thrive is so important, whilst still finding ways to make them look gorgeous as you style your home.
    This little room transformation using houseplants was so much fun, and a perfect solution for me as a renter as I'm not able to put much up on the walls. Keep watching until the end for the before and after!

    I started following your account a couple of months ago, and I have mostly watched your videos from the past year. This video was so interesting to watch after those, knowing what your flat looks like today!

    So exciting to watch the boxes, the packing, the move, the set-up! Thank you for sharing all that with us. Your flat is absolutely lovely. I was so anxious to see the tour - it certainly looks like Joli is settling right in! Job well done!

    Really got good tips on plant layouts. Thanks 😊. Yeah you are right it didn't fit well near the heater. On the TV stand against the wall by your monstera plant. 👍

    What is the name of the humidifier? Unfortunately the link takes me to something completely different and ugly

    love it! I would be careful of facing delicate plants next to open fireplaces, as they can be draughty. Fireplaces are designed to pull to draw air through the room to burn the wood. It might be a bit too draughty for that little Calathea? Also it's probably not a good thing to put plants right next to a radiator?

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад +1

      Yeah both really good points there. I actually don't live here anymore, but luckily that fireplace was completely sealed at the time I put the plants there and they seemed to be alright. The other thing I did was always run a humidifier and hang wet clothing/towels over the radiators whenever they were on to counteract the dry air they produced 💚

    Is it ok to put plants on a window sill that has a radiator under it?

    • @TheJungleHaven
      @TheJungleHaven  2 года назад +1

      So long as you've got a humidifier there to counteract the dry air, and don't place super sensitive plants there I've found it to be fine
