I agree with what you're saying about how "publication" is better then "perfection". The more I focused on trying to making things "perfect" by adding more detail, I found myself getting more frustrated. Keeping the basic shapes and figures made things a lot easier. ❤
And also you inspired me to do some sketches like that on my own... I didn't put a time limit, but I thought about making them quick and not spending much time on them, they turned out interesting and pretty good. But you're DEFINITELY better at drawing hair than me.

With all due respect sir i just wanna say ..thank you for not giving up i just stumbled upon your channel and your videos inspire me you see im from south Africa and i also have a knack in drawing it has a very sentimental value for me and i wanna become a mangaka im still young and you sure can bet that theres no help i can get here cause they don't really focus much in anime and manga but i feel as if i can become one and watching you keep trying gives me hope, im training my drawing skills i wanna get better so i can give the most heart warming art , I don't know if you ever will see this comment or if ill even ever get to chat with you but i just wanna say if you never give up then i won't give up! Cause your my role model in the manga industry just know you changed a 16yr olds life! You are awesome!
Aren't you concerned that one of them will come across this video by accident? If it was me in your place, I will definitely be scared of what their reactions going to be like. Also, I see little to no different between drawing manga and writing novels or stories now when it comes to making it to the deadline. And despite the fact that you just said that publication is better than perfection, the need to make sure every single scene and conversation in the chapter make sense can still be a major pain. Sometimes, I ended up facing the situations where I cannot continue the conversations between the characters for a while or having no idea how to progress the plot like at all. Yes, I did eventually figure things out. But they were usually the results of me taking a break to search for inspirations on the Internet. And when I did, it usually take a lot of times because I always go seek for inspirations about what I like. And while that often worked well, it is not always yielded the results I wanted because I ended up finding inspirations in the most unlikely places somewhere else instead. Sometimes, I even have to wait for RUclips to give me something that I wanted for the inspiration as well. So can you tell me how this problem should be dealt with? I mean, this is not perfecting what I wanted, I can do that later when I spotted some errors. This is more like the need to progress things in the chapter in order to finish it. And when the desire to take a break and the need to search for inspriations coincidentally happened at the same time, what will you do?
Yoo that s cool to draw everyday, even if only 30min. Problem is i draw only once in a week because i am veeeeery too busy😅 but i wanna change that in near future, as soon as i get my master in astrophysics

honestly you art is fine just looking at anything like chainsaw man or my lesbian exp with lonliness. ya coulda easily used thsoe 30 mins drawing for a manga. in fact when ya did the 2hr piece i feel that shows the issues. let it rought up a little something like that coulda taken 30 mins to a hr. and it be fine aswell for manga publication
