English is my native language and I'm at a B2 / C1 level in my target language. My second language is a minority language. I have to say, I'm incredibly envious about all the natural content that English language learners have as choices to read and listen to. However, I am under no illusion about how difficult English must be to learn to an advanced level. Congratulations to those who reach that level in English! 💪
@@Mina-xb4ps It's not true. Esperanto is a lot easier (but you may think it's a useless language). English is easy-ish because we live in a world where there is a lot of English contents everywhere (from the beginning of our childhood).
If you want to master English grammar in weeks instead of years, check out a piece titled Mark's English Grammar Shortcuts. It's like going from a bicycle to the Space Shuttle, and it's dirt cheap. It's also available in Spanish under the title La Ruta Clara de la Gramatica ingelsa.

Hello guys, how's it going? I'm Willian from Brazil 🇧🇷. Currently, I'm reading a technical book in my IT area to increase my vocabulary. Nowadays I'm working in an IT company and every day I need to call some customers to help them with their problems. Having a tech vocabulary it's crucial in my career at this moment. By the way next year I'll take my CCNA certification.
I have not been studying English for a while .... Them I got this notification and started watching this video and other videos from her now I'm feeling so inspired and excited to get back studying English thanks a lot for your work 💓👏👏👏
I've read 8 English book since 2021, starting from the easiest ones (Charlie and a chocolate factory, Alice in Wonderland) and finishing with sheerly complex books (Fahrenheit 451, 1984, Animal Farm, The Martian chronicles, Farewell to arms, Picture of Dorian Gray) It's always nice to realize how much information is now accessable thanks to English. If I hadn't learnt it, I wouldn't have found such nice people as Andrew and Tristan Tate, Jordan Peterson,Joe Rogan. Life is sheerly easier and better with English.
So my english level is somewhere between B2/C1 and my favourite thing to do in english is read. I am mostly reading fantasy or thrillers novels in english
Hello Veronika, It's a pleasure to listen your video on youtube and I was wondering if you´re an english native speaker. Your accent is really intelligible and you pronunciation is fantastic by spelling for well every single word, thank for it! I'd like to know if you know or have tried to learn others languages: Thank you Merry Christmas Perú
My first language is Spanish, and I bought cinder in Spanish, thinking it wouldn’t appropriate for my level, but I have a b2 level in English so now that you say it could suit an intermediate level, I’m considering reading it in English. But I already bought it in Spanish. Do u think I should read it in Spanish and then in English, and then continue the series in English, or speaking the Spanish reading and buy it again but in English? I’m confused
Thank you so much for your book recommendation. I have already read something books. Then I will read the secret garden book. It was interesting what are saying about books. I admire reading books with watching the same movie.
does anybody have an idea about what to do when coming across some words that you dont know while reading? Are you just searching for their meanings and try to keep them in mind or are you taking notes for each and every one of it?
Your videos are amazing and I love watching your videos I love reading as well and these books are incredible and I'm gonna make a video talking about books too in my channel!!!!
The Secret Garden не уместен в этом списке! Там присутствует пресловутый "Йоркширский" акцент, вникать в который, пробираться сквозь который - пустая трата времени. Я буквально страдал читая это произведение! История безусловно интересная, мотивирующая и поучительная, но слишком сложна для изучающих язык на средних уровнях и ниже.
