Hi Mariah, this video was super helpful! I was looking to do exactly that and you made it super easy by giving step by step instructions. Thanks so much!
Thanks! I have a list of clients that I am going through each one individually and so far my response has been really good! This has been much needed for my Google business listing for about a year now! I just hope there’s not a limit to how many people can give me reviews per day.
Thank you a million ❤because I have someone (A Low Lifer) that just out lavishly lied on me and my business . Since I can’t get it removed . I will just combats it with positive reviews. Again , thank youuuu sOoooo much & God bless ❤
I was just talking about this yesterday. Where and how do you find and create a Google review to help promote your business? Now I know, thanks to you and the masters at RUclips. 🙌
Hi, I found your video very helpful and understandable! You are straightforward to the point. I would love it if you could make a video about how to use Facebook Ads.
Aw yay!! Glad it was helpful ✨TBH I don’t know the first thing about Facebook ads 😂😂 if I ever end up exploring them, I’ll be sure to make a tutorial though. Thanks for your support on my channel. I appreciate you!!
If you want to start getting reviews on Google specifically, yes, you’ll need a Google business profile (aka Google my business). These profiles are only an option for local businesses or business that do options locally. You can check out the details when you go to sign up but it’s free to sign up for!
Thank you!! TBH I haven’t run into that issue myself yet. All of my clients use gmail in one way or another. I’m not sure if there’s a way around it quite yet.
This was great!! I copied the link "get reviews" and sent it to my client and they received one that already had the info filled out, Starts filled out verbiage?? How can they get a blank one??
Thanks for this. The problem that I am having is that many of my clients are older, happy to leave a review, but don’t have a Google account and are reluctant to get one. How do I get round this?
TBH I’m not sure if there is a way to get around it. If there is, I don’t know about it. If Google reviews are too much of a pain, you could try getting Facebook and other platform reviews. Google usually shows those as “reviews from the web” on the profile but I’m not sure they’d have as much weight with local SEO. Google wants us to play their game, unfortunately.
This is exactly what I needed. I was wondering if we are able to create a custom message that we can access with the link saved in it for regular use. I thought I saw that near the end of the video. I would love to know if that is the case. Help please?
To snag that specific review link from there profile, yes you would have to be logged into their account. Or you can have them snag the link and send it to you, then you can send it to their previous clients/customers however you plan to communicate with them. You can also try viewing their GBP not being logged in, pretending like you’re gonna write the review, and when the box pops up on desktop, copy the URL link of it. Idk how reliable that last way of doing it is though. Hopefully that helps! ✨
Hello this video is very nice but some reason when I enter my personal name, because I am a Realtor. The option you showed to get your google review link. Some how i can’t see that whole page. Can you help me on that. Thanks.
Thank you!! You can try either Google searching the business name + location and see if it comes up, or log into your Google Search Console account and there should be another way to grab the custom review link. Hope that helps!
Thanks for the video, I appreciate it. I have watched dozens of videos on getting google reviews and all of them explain the same thing, however, none of them explain the most important thing which is "How do you collect customer's ph# and email"? Nobody provides that information when going to restaurants or grocery stores, car wash, etc.? Would u plz provide that crucial detail? Thanks.
Hi! I think it’s because a phone number and email is considered personal information, so Google doesn’t make that required in order to leave a review. Leaving a review doesn’t give the business a green light for contacting the person that left that review. I think they have to sign up for communications directly, in order to consent for it. (I’m not a lawyer or anything, this is just my assumption). That’s why I think some businesses have other in-person feedback forms or “sign up for our newsletter” things as separate from leaving a review bc they’re two different things. Hopefully that helps!
@@MariahMagazine Yes, thank you, that's what I thought. The easy part is contacting customers like mentioned, but the hard part is collecting customer's contact information (email, ph, etc). Nobody provides that information when going to restaurants, etc. Now I understand why videos don't cover that crucial part of getting google reviews. Thanks again.
How do you find this link if I don't own the business profile or have access to it? I work for a business, and no one there (at my specific location) manages the business profile.
Make sure you’re logged into the correct gmail account that has Google business profile access. Or you can search “Google business profile” and find your listing that way, if you’re logged into the right account.
This exactly what I need. However how do I write a email like this and save it so I don’t have to type it every single time I want to sent to a client. Thank you so much.
Hello i am new on this, i have sent the link so some android clients and havent had problems but when sending to ios phone clienta they cant , is there something i can do?
I set it up years ago, so I’m not sure how the process is today, but from what I understand I qualify for a Google business listing because I still offer services to local customers. I teach in person workshops and meet clients at coffee shops/co-working spaces, essentially bringing my “services” to them vs. having a physical location where they meet me. When you set it up this way, you don’t have to list your address. Hopefully that helps clarify a bit!
This is going to depend on which platform your website is on. I was planning on creating a video like this in the future! As of right now, I haven’t dove into it yet so I’m not sure outside of manually copying and pasting reviews and putting them on your site.
It does not work for me. Its asking me to log into my google account when I'm already logged in @@MariahMagazine . Maybe its just for me. I'm curious if it works for others on mobile
Hi! Usually when you Google your business name and see your listing, you can click the “share” option and then “copy” to copy the link to it. This is on mobile though, I’m not sure about how to do this on desktop at the moment. Might be similar!
Hmmm, that’s odd. I’m using a desktop computer and I’m logged into the correct gmail account that my Google Business profile is connected with. Not sure if that makes a difference on your end?
You should be able to do a quick Google search for “Google business profile” and then you follow their prompts for setting it up. Hopefully that helps!
Hmmm, I don’t think so unfortunately. I think the only thing you can do is respond to the negative comment in an honest & supportive way so that people who see it can better understand the situation & how you handle it.
When I use the link that google creates for me, it makes me sign in in the window that it pops up. Why is that and how do I get it to bypass the login window??
That’s a fantastic question that I don’t have the answer to. I don’t think you can transfer reviews, but I could totally be wrong. I’ve never looked into it
I know some people who screenshot the Google reviews and add them to their website and some people who manually add the text-based review to their website. There might be a way to embed the Google reviews using a plugin, but I haven’t played with that.

Can this link be turned into a QR code? To use the QR code in a business card
Yes I’m sure it could. I don’t see why not
Great video. Regrettably, when I find my business on google, Your Business on Google where I can edit etc does not show up. Where can I find that? TY

what about if you do not have access to the Google Business Profile?
Then unfortunately I’m not sure you can snag the review link. Maybe there’s a way, but I don’t know of it.
