One thing you need to remember is that God will divorce a man from his wife and a wife from her man by death, so sin will be used to separate them by death, which means a lot of relationships even by the loyalist spouses are changed or erased by God. As implied by Christ when he answered the Pharisees for the matters of marriage by this, “they will be like the angels of Heaven”, implying Genesis 2. Practically a restart since angels are pure since their birth and are the only and closest example to a sinless man besides Christ, the married angel of the Lord.
Without Gods word darkness is the only other alternative. We have Gods word - so - what excuses do we have? Scripture is a lamp for our path on earth. Humans since Adam & Eve have worn the veil over our conscience allowing us to rebel against Gods word of truth of Scripture! Come to the cross of Christ before it's too late for salvation in Christ Jesus.
Down vote, report, and move on. I love John MacArthur, but this video has a false title. The video submitter (not John MacArthur, obviously) is trying to get click-bait views, in order to profit in one form or another, off of God’s Word and the hard work of MacArthur.
Divorce happens long before you walk out the door. Whoever said unfaithfulness is simply physical sex? Financial, lies, deceit, physical abuse, verbal abuse, emotional and psychological abuse, abandonment. Just horrible. And I've lived it for 35 years! I've seen women become nothing more than a shellif themselves after years of 'unfaithfulness'. But we're told as women that if only we were on our knees just a little more, God will miraculously change our tormentor! We become enablers. I've yet to see that glorify God! And you know, the church that judges us poor women from a distance, as we suffer year in and year out, doesn't lift a finger to help us carry our burden!
How sad is it that he sees it in 1979, and yet, did people learn…get better? Uhh, no. Much worse. What does this tell you? What it SHOULD tell you is two things: 1. The lie that we simply need MORE education, whether on divorce, society, abortion, or general education, is truly a lie. MORE education is NOT the answer. 2. People are hellbent toward evil. They cant give it up! Anything goes, so long as it brings ME pleasure. Rules for you, yes, but not for me! I have no sympathy for humanity. God was/is right, about everything.

God hates sin...sin is always selfish and always sad and always destructive. Thank you, LORD Jesus, for taking my sins away.
