    I love new interpretations, such a fresh view on a classic.

    I love this interpretation. I've seen another interpretation with this staging and it was less playful and joyful, but more sensuous. There are so many paths you can take, all of them equal.

    I loved this version of it, so fresh, modern, diverse, interesting. Kept you on your toes, I truly loved going to see this. And I like juliets Scottish accent also. Some scenes were very cool, the party, and the end scene which we all know..... I liked mercutio and tibalt wandering around. A bit different. Recommended if it's ever nr you. But check the actors in it are this pair...... Very good. I often wonder how hard it must be to learn lines like this, or maybe to them it's easy.

    This is Act 2, Scene 2 not scene 1. 🙄
    Still an excellent adaptation for a modern audience.

    do you think the same writings would be revered if it was not in old English. i doubt it highly, I love there acting but the novelty of the script falls short of the critic a claim Shakespeare has. I think he is overrated.

      I believe there's more at work rather than 'old language' - themes of hope, disappointment, love, betrayal. All things for you to empathise with if you have a shred of humanity.

      +Feral Bacchus look hard enough into the tv guide and you will see profound things. its not a matter of what we can take away from his work its what his intent was. and as far as pop culture being garbage. what do you think these works where classed as in the respective time... the popular culture?

    • @charliechalk2554
      @charliechalk2554 6 лет назад +2

      +Organic Acting that is true but why are these works held in such high regard. i belive there is modern contemporary works that equal and surpass these plays
