He doesn't use the sound from the camera. He uses an audio interface to connect his guitar to his PC. All the guitar effects and amp/cabinet simulation are done with software (VSTs). You should look into a Line6 Pod Studio GX or UX1 if you want a cheap but good interface for guitar. Or you could get a 2nd hand Line6 Pod XT or x3 if you want to have all those cool guitar sounds without having to connect to a computer. (FamilyJules7x uses a Pod x3 in his older videos BTW).
