Definitely going to pick up the pro version of this in the near future. I have the rpm 4 and I love it. Battery life is great for me so I’m sure it’ll be even better with this device.

Just ordered mine, can’t wait for it to arrive..another small pro that’s been overlooked is the charging port placement, I’m upgrading from the rpm4 which has the port on the underside of the mod which can be an eye sore, having it stand up while charging pleases my OCD lol
@@monaw3atcom529 to be honest it does tend to leak yes, nothing major but 9/10 there will be liquid under the pod when you take it out, I find the original ones are not as bad but the 6ml capacity pods tend to leak a lot more.
Smok nord series are the best for flavour, I bought the “nord 4” costs me 40€ and I am in love with the results of the 80 WATTS it can handle. Best price/quality if you love flavour.

Lots of Pro's.....Build, Form Factor, Juice Capacity, AF control, etc. However.....Major Con.....Coils & Leakage. IMHO, SMOK have a real quality control issue in regards to their coils for their PodMods.... Wattage Overrated Reliability Longevity/BurnOut Leakage. And from some other reviews, where the device was tested over a period of time, the issues with the coils have NOT changed. Follow up review would be nice.
Wish they made mtl coils for this. Wish there were more options like what Voopoo Pnp system offers. I'm a mtl user who would rather have a larger pod mod for better battery life.
@VitalizeTTV would be perfect and airflow adjustment is really good so you can have it wide open with no draw resistance or as tight as you wish! Hope this helps you 👌🏻
Biggest problem with these is if you have your phone and vape in same pocket the button is easily pushed in and will start burning the coil since there's no airflow going through. I know there's a locked setting to prevent that but you will forget to lock it sometimes. Also leaks like crap, started leaking not even one week after buying it.

I got that exact same one in July and 2 weeks ago it just stopped charging! Do I have the receipt? No I can’t find it. Not can I figure out how ti fix it! Two months old and it shits the bed? Really! I’ve only ever bought Smok vapes too. So I’m now a little pissy! I Loved it! It’s my favorite so far.💔
In the uk you’ll be restricted to 2ml by the H&S police. 2ml isn’t even worth buying when using a Smok Coil. You’ll spend longer keep filling it up than ever actually vaping.

How bout the flavour & sweetness that hv been produce from it? 1 to 10. Compare to flavouring n sweetness that hv been produce from Aladdin n Caliburn.
2 things. Does the coils tend to become over saturated and spit juice through the drip tip? And how firm is the slide top to fill the tank? Not a good experience having those types open in your pocket...
@@BillyJoeJimBob28 it's not extremely firm. But it has rubber lip thing that helps seal juice in along with the cap being slid closed. Thing is I've noticed that rubber catch that you slide the juice tip through is slightly cracked and worried how long the rubber piece will hold up before it completely breaks off. I have owned this device for almost 2 weeks. Otherwise pretty solid. Probably advise buying the pro version and using your own batteries. Also would be nice if they made different pods to allow the use of RPM coils and so on. The coils in this thing leak from the base of the pod quite a bit actually. Doesn't get all over the place but needs whiped out daily.
Guys DON'T GET THIS. I just bought it and it sucks at refilling you can't put ejuice in it with out it coming out the top there will be bubbles in the tank and you will be refilling it every second also you can't see how much juice is in there. This is a shit device wish I didn't buy. If you get it you'll definitely run into the same problems as me. You just can't get a proper refill. This sucks...
Whatbwould you say gives good flavor in that?I had a nord 4 with rpm 0.4ohms and enjoyed the flavor didn't care for the rpm2 but it recently died. Vape shop didn't have alot in stock so I got a geekvape obelisk 65 and their b series 0.4ohm coil just is not producing the flavor even close to the rpm
Don’t think you can use this for salt nic 50/50. I’m still using my smok novo4 but I wish they would fix it and add top fill. Every time I refill I have to get juice in my hands
I thought I was doing something wrong 🙄. Maybe we don't vape strong enough. I only vape at 10. Are we supposed to power it down in between usage. I don't vape full-time
@@aliarab8760 maybe if a person is a heavy user it may not leak. I had mine less than 2 weeks and it was leaking. I changed coils and filled the tank. When I woke up in the morning, the whole tank had emptied out all over my night table. I cleaned up the mess and put a different coil and only filled the tank 1/4 this time and the tank emptied again.

I have a g2 as well as the rpm5.. I direct to lung, i don't even see how mtl is possible with this device. Flavor is ok.. Not quite like the g2 but satisfying.
So we all know rpm3 was the worst but what hell are they trying to do arm on the coil that's not the design prob have I with the rmps my coils stay on my tanks don't stay put long when I drop my device it's needs something the like the ixp has for its tank thats is slick kinda glad my place didn't have the new rpm5 I'm truly impressed with the ipx80 I got instead
Love the look and the juice capacity. Avoid though, the battery life is just terrible. Lucky to get an hour vaping at 60 watts. Such a shame. Smok have finally started improving both coils and devices but the battery life anxiety is phenomenal.

@VitalizeTTV try a 1.0mg nic salt on the 0.23 coil at around 25w, you can mtl or dtl with that configuration, try it and thank me later 😃

Easy fix. Lock the vape. If you’re continually doing it and not remembering then put your vape in a different pocket

I vape at 25 watts bc I vape want nics. Use the .23 olms rpm 3 coils.

RPM5 coils looks like RGC coils. Is this compatible with any of the other RPM coils, or are the RPM5 coils compatible with any other tanks or pods?
Although the device is called RPM 5/RPM 5 Pro, the coils it uses are called RPM 3. I don't know about other compatibility though 🤷🏻♂

I always put down my head tank on the tissue every time i refill. It's just the weakness of pod sistem.

Try dropping your nic level. I use 6 too and i agree it is a little harsh
