  • I replaced my standard Stanley FatMax sawhorses with these new and improved Stanley FatMax adjustable aluminium sawhorses.
Here are my thoughts and first impressions of them.

Look a handy set of saw horses mate, they’ll definitely help you doing a heap of different woodworking tasks 🎥🔨👍

Thanks Sumo. They're gonna come in useful soon, as I've got some pallets to break down and I'd rather de-nail etc at height, than bend over and do it.

Thanks. I'd say they fall between the mobile workbenches and the bog standard saw horses. They're really designed for lugging around worksites. If you were in the workshop all the time, you'd just build your own timber ones. Much cheaper and much stronger.

    Thanks for your review.
Noticed an vid from the Tool Review Zone about the Bora speedhorses. Link: ruclips.net/video/440FvCpGHfU/видео.html.
How is this issue with the Stanley version? Thanks!

Hi DLMM. Thanks for the link. I'm surprised the Bora's failed so easily on the sideways pressure. Especially as they were looking great up until that point. The Stanley ones don't have an sideways issues, as they open up the other way, so they're really stable both ways. Interestingly, I've left them out in my garden (in rainy England) since I did the review and there's not a speck of rust anywhere.
