My demon was a highly anticipated drama of 2023. And truth is, it did live up to it's expectations. There are so many tropes I love that are included in the drama-enemies to lovers, contract marriage, bodyguard trope, supernatural main character, past life, reincarnation. It has it all. The drama has a good continuous mystery which keeps you on the edge of your seat. There are secrets revealed every two episodes, things that you predicted and things you didnt. There's humor, the soft dating era, the husband-wife era, you name it they have it. A huge shout out to the casting directors cause this cast is lit. Not only from the visual aspect but their chemistry is so damn good. I go even far to say that this is the best chemistry song kang has had with any female co actor, on and off screen. Kim yoo jung is such a goddess and her screen presence is commendable. Ive been wanting to see Song kang do diverse roles, My demon definitely checked that from the list for me. For me personally, this is the Song kang I wanted to see so im pretty happy. Also, the outfits. THE FRICKING OUTFITS. Every single one of them has been stuck in my head. Basically this drama is a whole treat, both visually and from the story telling aspect. I highly recommended if you havent watched it yet.
