The lady who sings the main vocals has a beautiful strong voice and elevates the song to another level. Her name is Mary ???. I have always loved Dexys since 1980 when the brass sound of their first album blew me away. Their new album, the Feminine Devine is a slow burner for me although 'my submission' is the outstanding track. In a way it reminds of when Don't Stand Me Down was released in 85 which took me a few years to get and that album is now regarded as a masterpiece. Love, Love, Love x

For me, How Do I Live and You Wear It Well would be next, but I love Carrickfergus and the delicious pop of this one, Grazing in the Grass too though. Am playing the album again and again and again right now.
