This Is EXACTLY Why I Still Do Shop & Pay Orders With Uber

  • Doing some Uber Shop & Pay orders can be a pain. I've talked about that in previous videos but there are advantages about Uber Eats shop & pay orders such as the Uber grocery delivery orders I show you that I did in this video. It's common of me to give in and do some Shop & pay orders with Uber, but even I have my limits to the ones I will do and the ones I won't. My goal is to help new delivery drivers rather it's a Uber Eats delivery driver or not with deliveries.

The Uber Eats shop and pay for Wal-mart are terrible. And, usually low or no tip.

    Hey Ash
I’m gonna ask you a important question that I don’t hear other gig RUclips drivers mentioning. I seriously want to know how you keep or manage a 100% satisfaction rating on the app with those shop and pay orders?
I used to do shop and pay orders, and most of the time the store would not have on average 2 or more items available. I will check my ratings after deliveries, including the shop and pay orders and I’ve noticed a few times it going down even when notifying customers prior about substitutions and that’s if they even get texts/calls from me or respond.
Once I stopped doing shop and pay, I have noticed my satisfaction ratings have been significantly higher, I also think that there is some possibility too that customers are quick to “thumbs down” the further your rating is below 100%.
Sorry for the long post, thanks Ash as always! :)

i really do not like that the uber pro card makes you already pay for it first and its not on them. and they might not refund in 48 hours and keep offering the refund in 48 hours over and over again past the first 48 hour point. i will never do shop and pay again. also i hate the packages as uber does not say nothing upfront like distance or pay. i accepted a package today but i chatted to support what the pay and distance it. i was ignored.i went to my car. feeling messed with i tried to cancel but i had data issues. i guess the delivery evaporated. also the very first shop and pay i tried the lady wanted a specific meat and i was having a heart attack trying to find the exact meat. it was hell. i just received my uber card but i had not yet put "my earnings" into it. and since it is not a credit card it declined. i lost like 2 hrs of my life.

I will never complete a shop and pay if I'm required to pay for it upfront due to card issues. I will cancel the order and speak to a manager directly to get compensated because of my time and the lack of their stuff working. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I know first hand how annoying Ubers shop and pay can be.

My Uber pro card was fine but what I am trying to get at is that I had to pay for it with money in my Uber pro card and wait 24 to 48 hours to be reimbursed which I was not yet reimbursed and I has been three days.

It’s like I am borrowing Uber eats money which is just upside down. I never meant to be the bank trying to earn instead

Oh I completely agree with you. Contact support, ask for a manager and see if the funds can be put directly on your Uber account instead.

Sadly thats all of these gig apps. I never pay by time, only the order based on a base fare + tip
