Great video! I personally just play Vigilant and Unslaad to get a souls-like feeling. They offer great story lines and especially Unslaad is exceptional imo and uses deep MK writings and TESO lore. My problem with turning Skyrim into dark souls is that I don't want the base game to feel different and that any mechanic mods that touch the base, break the game and become annoying imo. Especially at level 40/50 when there's only Deathlords and they start spamming FusRoDah. Because the common enemies in Dark Souls are not nearly as stressful to fight than a dungueon full of deathlords imo, but therefore the bosses are obviously way harder. Ever delved into Forelhost at level 50 on legendary difficulty? I nearly damn lost it on that run lmao.
@@SyncheYT That you could even push through for 4 hours is a suprise. I had a Load Order very similiar to yours, and I think I quit after 50 minutes in because EVERY enemy started to spam shield bashing. Turns out I never played TES for it's difficulty and that it takes away all the fun. Eversince I only have a Vanilla plus LO with about 125 mods. Mainly bug fixes, Deadly Dragons and the recently released Majestic Dragons (HIGHLY RECOMMENDED).
@@SyncheYT Taking over Windhelm with Odahviing and Durnehviir was never this satisfying. Those huuge dragon wings covering the whole city in shadow was really something else, while Odahviing let fire rain down jn everyone. I felt like a damn Targaryen ngl

Just search up Heavy burns: turning Skyrim into dark souls, thats what i used + a bit other combat mods
