The Boys is not an easy song to sing, many high notes across the song. Not talking about it's one of SNSD's biggest hits. I think dance cover was the right choice from Oh My Girl. They knew their limit.

목소리까지 녹음하는게 쉬운일이니? 음방같은데서 하는 비교적 큰 프로젝트 같은것도 아닐뿐더러 걍 소속사에서 지네끼리 한건데 대체 어디까지 바라고 있는 거야.. 쌩판 다른 소속사 연예인 롤모델이랍시고 안무외우고 몇시간 쌔빠지게 연습했을 애들한테 왜 춤'만' 췄냐고 욕하는모습^^애초에 다른 소속사아이돌을 위해서 며칠씩 밤새가며 투자할 이유도 없는 건데 쟤넨 음원까지 녹음하길 바라고있다.. 8명이서 춤외우고 동선외우고 군무맞추고 하는 건 어디 연습이 없었을까. ;^;

애초에 녹음을 굳이 할필요가 없음. 원곡자도 아니고 소녀시대만큼 밸런스조절도 안된 신인그룹이고 그곡자체가 소녀시대에 맞춘건데 뭐하러 라이브하면서 춤을춰. 노래경연프로에서도 원곡이낫네 라는 소리듣는 와중에 춤만 하는게 낫지. 반대로 오마이걸 노래 소녀시대가해도 오마이걸만큼 못함. 각 그룹이 몇천번씩부른걸 몇번의 연습으로 따라갈 수가 없지
이때 원더걸스 텔미도 댄스커버 했었는데 유난히 소녀시대 이 영상 코멘트가 노래 안한다 립싱크한다 이런식으로 욕이 진짜 많았음 그냥 악플러 한둘 있는게 아니라 그런 의견이 지배적이여서 당황스럽기도하고 나빼고 몰카하나싶었음.. 일반화하긴 싫지만 유독 sm팬들이 좀 .. 뭔가 .. 응 할말하않.. 워낙 유명하니 말은 안하겠음

+xoxoNateJennyxoxo I believe in the future they will. When Girls Generation first came out, they had a younger and more "wholesome" image to start. As they went along, it became more mature and such. I'm sure Oh My Girl will do the same thing, it does work for them to go for a younger feel since the overall group is still very young, and then probably become more mature as they grow and become more popular.
trogdorthe8th I agree with you. I do love their current releases though (I really like dream-pop and Closer was that done to perfection) and especially given their ages it was definitely the best way to start as a group.
just because they have a bunch (Twice) doesn't mean they are the best, talent and skill, when you actually consider it, is more important than popularity (not saying Twice aren't skilled, I'm a fan, and I'm also a fan of OMG)

Is Taylor Swift mega popular? Yes. Are there many people who can sing better than her? Yes. Does that change the fact that she's extremely popular and has won many awards for her catchy music? No.
Jiho, JinE and MiMi killed this stage, esp MiMi. I love how confidence she was when it came to her line. YooA is a doll, for sure, beautiful but there aren't much expression in her face. My reaction was just like: YooA "What a beauty but so boring", MiMi "This girl really rocks, this stage is her", Jiho "It suits her", JinE "I love her confidence smile"
Out of all the covers i watched so far from snsd, this one only gives justice! Not the exaggerated making faces and moves they make. I am a sone and I felt the vibes these girls put through this performance! Good job! 👍👍👍

비니는 실력이 꾸준히 늘었나보다... 퀸덤보고 무대 보는데 비밀정원부터 확실하게 파트 가져가는듯. 데뷔초 무대보면 파트도 동선도 비중이 너무 없는데 많이 성장해서 자기파트 챙겨가는거 대단한것 같다.

원곡자도 아니고 소녀시대만큼 밸런스조절도 안된 신인그룹이고 그곡자체가 소녀시대에 맞춘건데 뭐하러 라이브하면서 춤을춰.
노래경연프로에서도 원곡이낫네 라는 소리듣는 와중에 춤만 하는게 낫지.
반대로 오마이걸 노래 소녀시대가해도 오마이걸만큼 못함.
각 그룹이 몇천번씩부른걸 몇번의 연습으로 따라갈 수가 없지

+xoxoNateJennyxoxo I believe in the future they will. When Girls Generation first came out, they had a younger and more "wholesome" image to start. As they went along, it became more mature and such. I'm sure Oh My Girl will do the same thing, it does work for them to go for a younger feel since the overall group is still very young, and then probably become more mature as they grow and become more popular.
trogdorthe8th I agree with you. I do love their current releases though (I really like dream-pop and Closer was that done to perfection) and especially given their ages it was definitely the best way to start as a group.

Is Taylor Swift mega popular? Yes. Are there many people who can sing better than her? Yes. Does that change the fact that she's extremely popular and has won many awards for her catchy music? No.
