I tighten the nuts on the end of the cable by the air intake but after a long drive they come loose can you tell me what Im doing wrong or how can I solve this?
I couldn't pull my grip off the mushroom ferrules on the cables, not enough slack. I don't need to replace cables; just take off and put back on the butterfly in order to get the grip off.

Mine was starting to become a little sticky, so I lubed the cables, and now they snap back as they're supposed to

Nice. Now replace them on a Raider. That's the real challenge.
