Is it just me or is it quite impressive that Ottie is able to play and win Guess Who, all by herself?! 😄
I’m a speech-language pathologist and I am constantly blown away by Ottie’s language skills! The way you talk with her constantly and at her level is amazing!
As an anxious kid who felt like I was forced to do a lot of stuff I didn’t want to, it was so healing to watch you guys give Ottie permission to not like ice skating. It is something that seems so small, but it made my inner child feel so safe.
You sitting with Ottie after ice skating is so comforting to see. Such a cute moment. She didn't feel comfortable, and you didn't force her, but let her still enjoy the moment.Very good parenting!
I’m truly amazed at how good Ottie is at playing games. I was thinking how clever she was for her age the other day when you were playing with her at Alfie’s parents house and watching you play today just solidified it. She was asking all of the right questions to figure out the character, well done Ottie!

I know Alfie and Zoe say it often that they don’t have the perfect life (although it appears that way on camera)- but to me they really do. Zoe’s fashion, home, relationships, job, just her whole life is something so special and something I really aspire to have! The biggest thing for me to really hope for is to overcome anxiety the same way Zoe has. Not everyone is lucky enough to have such a positive life and it is really healing to watch these vlogs!
I just want to thank you for this years vlogmas, it's my personal christmas tradition. It actually makes me feel the holiday spirit, this month is usually very stressful for me and it doesn't let me enjoy christmas very much.

The new year’s conversation is so relatable. The transition and change with the pressure to reflect on “what’s next” or “what have I achieved” is always so overwhelming.

To this day, every time I’m unsure about doing something or anxious in any way, I still say to myself, just say yes 🥹 so thank you. From watching you for over a decade, I was so inspired to move to Brighton and go to Sussex University. I’ve now graduated, but looking back I have the fondest memories of those 3 years in my life. I didn’t think I would love another city as much as London and call it my home, but I did.
Mark has also inspired me to start solo travelling and backpack across Europe. I have been doing it for the past 2 summers and have had a blast each and every single time! I’ve met the most incredible people throughout my trips and that wouldn’t have happened if I didn’t say yes. This is a reminder that what you guys do has such a positive impact in each and every one of our lives.
And Alfie, every time I have the chance to take the stairs, you bet I still do that.

I love how Zoe always talks about Christmas traditions and wanting to start new ones with the girls. It made me think about how Vlogmas has become my Christmas Tradition. I’ve been watching her since 2012 and religiously watching Vlogmas since 2014 maybe. No one in my family speaks English, so it’s my thing and I just love it! Christmas in Brazil is very different than in the UK, we’re in the middle of Summer and it’s very hot.

I was 9 when I started watching your videos on RUclips and I’m now 22! My best friend’s big sister used to play your videos so I would go home and watch them on my iPod. Throughout my life I’ve always been told that I’m so similar to Zoe and this year when I found myself going through some really tricky housing situations post-uni, I found 3 girls to live with. All three of them have grown up watching your videos too and it is honestly like serendipity. I now spend my evenings in my gorgeous, pink, safe flat with my three besties and we all squish up on my bed to watch your videos each night. You have been a constant throughout my whole life and I realised these girls were supposed to find me once we all started talking about you!! Thankyou for being such an amazing role model to us as we’ve grown up. It’s almost like we were all shaped by you as young girls and now, therefore, have bonded so well because we each contain parts of you. Our flat is colourful, fun and always filled with baking and Christmas music (all year round). Thankyou for being our big sister!

I was probably 7 or 8 when i first ever watched one of your videos. My older sisters were fans and as the youngest, i followed a lot in their footsteps. I’m now 18 years old and am lucky to say i’ve grown up watching you. Although you mentioned your content wasn’t always “PG” it was always comforting, joyous, and fun. through difficult periods in my life one thing stayed consistent, you two sharing your kindness through the internet. vlogmas really makes the christmas season feel festive. i was talking to my older sister and she said she remembers always looking forward to Zoe and Jo’s grinch/ cindy lou who makeup video and how that was part of our christmas traditions. i remember completely devouring the “girl online” books when i was twelve. i’m lucky to say that you have been a role model for me for a decade. now with the ebbs and flows of life i wasn’t always an avid watcher but i always knew i could come home to the comfort of your channel. so thank you for being a part of raising me. you two are such a light and im so glad you decided to start that blog, that channel and all your other ventures. wishing your family a very merry christmas and a happy new year. again thank you for being a constant in my life when nothing else was. much love from kansas ❤

NYE always makes me feel weird/anxious - I think it's because it's scary how time flies and that it's already the start of another year and also the prospect of a whole new year just feels daunting. Also, I never drink when I eat either! And it's always one of my new years resolutions haha xx

I am from Brazil, but I have been living in the Northern Hemisphere for the past 12 years. I must say, celebrating New Year in the north doesn't have the same vibe as it does in the south. In the Southern Hemisphere, the start of the new year truly feels like a fresh beginning-it's summer, and with it comes a sense of hope and happiness. Everything starts anew: the school year, the administrative calendar, and so much more. While in the north, the real sense of renewal often waits until September, making NYE feel less like a true starting point. This is why celebrating NYE in the south feels more aligned with the essence of a new beginning.
I agree. I grew up in both New Zealand and England, and could never get used to the school year starting in September at my UK school instead of a date in January. New Year's Eve very much feels like the close of one year and the beginning of the next in New Zealand, a fresh year and start in every respect.

I am usually a silent viewer but just wanted to share that I never really felt New Years was that special until recently. I don't know how it is in the UK but here in the US (at least where I am from) we have a tradition of banging pots and pans to ring in the new year. It wasn't until a few years ago that I had stayed in on New Years Eve and was feeling a little bummed when I heard all the cheering and banging outside as the clock hit midnight. There was something about hearing my neighborhood erupt into a celebration at the start of the new year that felt super wholesome to me. Now I look forward to leaving my window open and hearing everyone acknowledge the closing of a year and welcoming a new one with so much joy. Anyway, I have loved every second of Vlogmas and have been watching you guys for over 10 years. Much love from Pennsylvania

I’m only 12 mins in and I rarely ever comment but I couldn’t not comment at the brilliance in this vlog so far. From seeing how advanced Ottie is playing Guess Who (her language, her attention to details, the ability to follow and understand multi step instructions, turn taking etc which is all a reflection of the dedication you two and your families have to raising her) to the level of awareness of videoing and editing the skating rink considering other people and then keeping it real and compassionate about a parent wanting experiences with their child but this changing far from the expectation. This is exactly why I love watching your vlogs. It’s not just the content (which is always fabulous) it’s the whole appreciation of your production that is amazing. I can’t express how much day 18 vlog resonated with me! I always say that you and Alfie are my longest parasocial relationship, haha. I started watching your videos when I was just 12 or 13 years old, and now, at 24, you’ve been inspiring and accompanying me for more than a decade.
From something as simple as decorating my room for Christmas to traveling to the UK on a school trip with my best friend-visiting Brighton and secretly hoping to bump into you at the mall (haha)-you’ve been such a positive influence in my life.
I only recently realized how much you’ve inspired me to start my own journey on social media. Four years ago, I began creating content, and I’m sure it all traces back to that first video of you in your old bedroom, talking to us like a big sister. As the eldest in my family, I really needed that connection, and it meant so much to me.

A few years ago, we joined on our friends’ tradition of going to the panto on NYE. It finishes around 9ish with a massive auld lang syne sing song in the theatre with the whole cast and audience joining in, then we head back to ours for nibbles, drinks and sparklers at midnight. The kids love it and having something to look forward to after the Christmas high

Zoe, get a water container, one that has a straw or has the sip function whichever makes you drink more, and just have it with you all day. You will automatically start drinking the water because it's right at hand
