  • We've received the 2026 Electoral Act with mixed feelings. I won't condemn the Act entirely; some provisions align with our goals, like direct primaries, which reduce costs of elections. However, the clause mandating digital registers infringes on party autonomy.

Rufai, you need to learn that it is only in the community of imbeciles and saints that you have unanimity of mind. How would you expect all the political parties to share the same sentiments?

Haaa ,he didn't say that ooo he said "it's a viewing center for us to sit at the comfort of our home to just see,and that is not what the INEC use as a result" meaning if you aren't going to use What we had all agreed on in our various polling units signed, screen shot and sent to the IREV but result back to ordinary form EC8A paper then what is the purpose.........

Keneth Okonkwo said that it’s unknown law as at the time of FCT Local Council elections. You guys should stop quoting him out of context.

This man has explained it. If the law is signed and dated even a day before the election regardless of being gazzetted or not you can't call it unknown.
The question is does gazzetting law part of the process of making not? Those a law becomes bidding before or after it is gazzetted? Same thing happened to our constitution when OBJ was sworn-in before the constitution was gazzetted and pointed.

Thank you Bar. Ezeokenwa for showing knowledge and understanding of the process. Dr Abati should have allowed him to clarify the electronic transmission very well, it would have helped many ignoramus .Why cutting him?
