    Darn rat was chillin' in the engine compartment when I turned the car on. The rat got caught and shredded under there, taking the power steering belt out with it.. Thanks for the video!!!

      Yep. If you're swapping out one belt because it's bad, chances are the others are just as dry rotted.

    • @JasonTylerRicci
      @JasonTylerRicci 7 лет назад

      Fernando Mendoza indeed, this is the easy one. Doesn't get easier that this. The AC and alternator, however, are a different story. The alternator being the most difficult, imo, since it's the 3rd belt in and you must remove the other 2 to change this one.

      Lol on a d16y7 or y8? The only power ur gonna really notice is gonna be a turbo or blower, especually on a d series even a fully built high compression d series may get 200hp but thats it, its not a k

    • @whatheck6709
      @whatheck6709 4 года назад

      It doesn't give you more HP, just frees up that was being used by the belt. Its gunna be the difference when you turn the AC on or Off, or somewhat similar. Expect a 1 or 2 hp difference at best

    Is it impossible to find a video of someone showing the lower pulley that this belt connects to? I'm starting to think that this lower pulley is somehow missing from my civic.
