The youtube algorithm sent me here. I've now learned that I've been lied to my entire life about crane flies. I too always thought they eat mosquitos, to say my life is in absolute shambles to learn that they don't eat mosquitos and in fact eat absolutely nothing, is an understatement.
i need more bug/animal hate videos. some of those things are just freaks. there’s a reason all the deep water fish hide where we can’t see them. also i had my friends try kombucha and describe the taste and my favorites were: essential oil, lemon dirt, uterus juice of lemon grass, mother natures period, orange juice with gasoline, vomit but not a bad kind, and lemonade

Where I grew up in northern Idaho we called them “yuck yucks” and I feel very vindicated
