ahhh i always liked to be reminded of how powerful xielian really is even when not a god he has scary amount of power. it's so easy to forget the boy is much deadlier and smarter than we think cuz he radiates innocent bby must protect energy

we all know how powerful Huacheng is and we even talk about him a lot, but we rarely talk about how powerful xielian is.. he is really strong even when his spiritual power is bound by a cursed mark. In book 5 it is explained that Xie Lian's strength is already equivalent to the Heavenly Emperor. i really love him!!
The moment he saves him was always my favorite with the music. In the show when hua cheng steps in water and then blood was also so cool. I wonder when season 2 will be coming out.

i hope the donghua doesnt censor too much, especially xie lians backstory and the aftermath of jun wu, xie lians and hua chengs fight bc they were one of the most pivotal parts of the story it'd be such a shame if they did.
in book 4 the novel goes really in depth on him and the kind of person he used to be and bruh it gave me chills. you'd have soo much more material for these kinds of edits if they showed everything LOL. i love how powerful you made him here. i highly reccomend reading the novel or reading the manhua as well for ppl who havent.

I just finished this anime and I wonder in which epsiode he caught Hua Cheng, does someone know? q__q
The first episode has his backstory where he saved a falling child when he was still human and the other gods liked it so ended up making him one later on. But he never realised until the last episode that that child was Hua Cheng until he finally got to see his true form through the ring.
