@@ZozillaThaGreat Iron je suis absolument fan. Super musicale, glue ++ mais finalement je l'utilise pas sur le Master, plutôt sur les bus Beat instru mix etc. J'ai pas eu le temps de tester longtemps le SHills mais parfait sur le Master. Je trouve qu'il apporte du coffre et un genre de swing. Le son devient compact sans changer donc 👌
Dans le mille , moi c'est bus voix ou j'ai hate !! en tout cas belle surprise !!!

As of this release, what would be your choice for a relatively clean compressor to enhance the groove on the master bus?
Yep a lot of choices ... clean will be the VSC 3 ... groove and ckean ...the Magisdeatheye is great , and this one also ...

First: stop apologizing for making "long" videos. I love them and I'm sure others do, too! Second, I've been comparing the AF-1 and MDE and some other compressors on electronic beats and I found the FG-Mu to sound as good as the MDE on some material. Can't really warm up to the AF-1 so far, it sounds too dense.
The FG mu is too colored on highs , don't be tricked ,but i love it on vocals (for that) , on drums it will not be my first choice , the FG RED would be better in the bundle ... but just trust your ears ... do blind tests and move on ..if you don't feel it , don't try to convice yourself ..

Jeez, in some places Kush sounds better! Especially there where you're fiddling with your dual mono setup (around 18:00 …) and trying to understand it.
You re right , this is why i tested versus this one to really show it s a question of context and song ...a chance it s like that ....a great compp don t stop to be great with other brands releases lol

You forgot to match the atk setting on the dual mono test, that why it sounded so different then the stereo :) Good test otherwise

You're right and i know why lol but it brings interrested of not matching exactly the settings to create depth the old school way ..thks for pointing this out !!
I assure you UAD sounds better. The load on the processor is lower due to simplified mathematical calculations. As a result, coarser adjustment. UAD soft step settings, each movement of the handle causes a slow increase in the signal.
Actually the algo is exactly the same , what you hear is oversampling quality of the UAD platform ...witch translates mostly by a precise and well defined sound and so a perception od depth and faster response due to transient exellnt reproduction ...
Try it a 96k and up and report ...align yourbounce at a per sample accuracy (don t trust your daw pdc) and null test ...
@@ZozillaThaGreat Another reviewer actually did a null test between the UAD and PA versions. They null out, they are completely identical. This makes sense, the algorithm is identical, and it makes no difference whether the CPU that does the calculations sits on a computer's motherboard or on a UAD card.
@@stratologies This is basically what i said , if the reveiwer did it at same sampel rate or a high sample rate , it should null .... (giving that you have a daw tnat handles PDC well)
Which is the most "endorsed"? UAD or PA? This "endorsements" ...aka BS.
This is the same , just ported to native ... so this makes no differences

The backend was developed by bx in both cases. It's basically the same plugin.
AR-1 sounds better than Shadow Hills Compressor. OMG.
AR1 Sound better than a lot of comps around , but the shadow hills setting can be just as good , not the best settings i did here (got the mastering version , with red lights , and it's better than this green one witch is smoother but less full of mojo) ;)
