He’s sounding better live now than he probably ever has. He sounded pretty good on the Cowboys from Hell tour, but his voice went downhill after that. So glad he’s back on top form.
Also I’ve heard a lot of flak about his guitarists. Honestly, Dimebag was one of the best metal guitarists out there. But I have a lot of respect for anyone who plays his stuff because it ain’t easy. Tbh i don’t think it matters who Phil picked to play for him because they’re in Dimebag’s shoes. You could probably get a famous guitarist nowadays, like Synyster Gates, Mark Tremonti or about a dozen other picks and people would still complain that it wasn’t Dimebag. Some people need to grow up and accept what’s being offered. 🤷‍♂️

Phil wants energy in LA. Hahaha. They end Slayer in the hair band capital of the world. If they wanted to perform for thrash fans they should have ended at the Cow Palace. Really LA. Look at how empty the floor is. Lame.

Oh dude the floor was packed to the brim for slayer. Phil played a few hours as the first opening act, but there was no room left when slayer took the stage.
