Maybe consider a deck style walkway from the house to the tubs. Sand will settle on the flagstone and you will end up in the same boat versus a deck you can raise up 6"-12" and the sand will mostly fall through the cracks. Basically build it like a pier. Round posts, 2x6 runner supports, 2x6 runners, 1x6 corral boards for the decking. Might cost about $1100 give or take a few and a solid 2 day trip but you would have this beautiful elevated walkway that you can expand on in the future and even build around the spa and cowboy pool. Just sayin
Always use round posts if available because they won't warp like square but you will pay a premium for those. Square will work fine as well but rounds are so much easier.
This is an awesome idea - we have thought about a deck-style situation to attach the pool and the hot tub. Eventually we want an out door shower as well. We'll definitely keep this in mind!
I really enjoyed the mini lesson on tuning the piano. (And its comparison to life.) 😊 It’s obvious to me how much you are good friends and that having a buddy to do all these things with just makes it that much more fun and rewarding.
Thank you! Sharing those aspects of running our STR is important to us and that people who are looking to have similar amenities in their homes know what it all entails! :) Having each other through this process is the best gift. We really like each other and we're definitely BFFs so that helps! haha
We had a guest take one of our favorite $20 card games home and never mentioned it. And just this last weekend at teenage boy seems to have taken a pillow sham but he did leave three adult beverages in the nightstand drawer. 🤨
How about with the additional 15% tax off the top of your income in CA. Will you be able to survive that? I know it's going to really hurt us. Our Airbnbs have been making less and less not sure it's worth it for us if this goes through. How about you?
We won't sell - if anything we will longterm rent if we have to or move into our property. We have major doubts that could even pass so we're not (currently) worried at all
Sugestion from a photographer. On the Finn Content you can see the white balance shifting, that's because you have it in auto. Set it to daylight or cloudy in that case ^.^ Good ep as always

Wow! its really amazing.
A big fan of you.
OMG Finn in a blue bonnet! 🥰
I do SAMS club online and I love it.
I really thought he was gonna play Kanye west runaway
🤣
We too hadn’t noticed how horrible our guest knives had gotten! Replaced, yay!
Man, you guys go out to your house a lot! How far of a drive is it from your main home?
We do! It’s a big part of our lives work-wise. It’s a little over 2 hours from our main residence.
Great video! Can you maybe discuss pricing strategy in one of your upcoming videos ? It’s something I really struggle with: occupancy rates vs price
Great suggestion!

maybe add some felt feet to the bottom of the bench legs to prevent scratches on your floors / allow you to slide it around more easily
We have them on there! :)

It's so weird what guests take and move around the house sometimes isn't it!?
The chem trail😂😂😂 yes lovely!
Talk about Sirius radio
😆
Nice piano solo, you def played the into to Runaway by Kanye West.
The window bench looks soooo good! Love it.
What is a banana (ground or round?) the thing that the guest chewed up
Oh Banana Grams! It’s a fun game like scrabble but actually fun!!
Awesome video!
Glad you enjoyed it

You two wear me out! Way to go on getting so much done!!
Haha we were just talking about how we need to SLOW down! Thank you :)
also, maybe get a whetstone to sharpen knives so you won't need to replace them too often?
This is a good idea!
