Hi Shaun, I'm in the second week of fermenting my peppers, there was a litlle black mold and some fuzzy whit mold on the very top of the onion. I removed it and added some vinegar. Is it ok? Should I maybe cook it when I'm done?? Would hate to toss it!
Question. During the process of fermentation gasses are built up, mainly Carbon Dioxide that need to be expelled. Eith that stated should the jar not be uncovered briefly to accomplish that? Where did you obtain those fermentation jars? Thanks.
⚠️Would not recommmend plastic storage because storing something so strong could cause the plastic to break down and have particles from the plastic to enter into the sauce
