Commercially speaking it did fail comparitively to most of their albums, but almost every avid AC/DC fan loves this album. Underproduced in just the right way, strong singles, great tone, killer riffs, insane vocals, and sick solos to boot.
It's a decent album with some bangers. It does have plenty of fillers though. I feel like the band was starting to lose some of its integrity around that time. Running low on ideas, firing people left and right... from what I've read, tensions were very high in the AC/DC camp around that time. To be fair, I think their next album, Fly On The Wall, was better.
am I the only one who completely fell in love with the rhythm section on this track? Malcolm is always great and solid I know but honestly, this track he just outshines Angus at the solo😍
i thought he was straining himself bigtime, lol & could barely make it through, I can see why this was not a live favourite of Brians lmao. Love this album. Rising power & bedlam in Belgum r wicked 2 . This songs one of my all x fav"s !!
@@noleadmonsNo that's Simon playing here in this rehearsal. And the drums sound great here. Did Simon play on the album? Who cares, we are taking about this particular rehearsal performance, not the album.
What I love about these rehearsals is you can hear and see them warm up. Takes 1 and two are bad, but then they begin to sound good here. I really like it.
Because it took 3 takes for Brian to sing this as well as he did. Also it's a bit slow compared to most of the material they played live in the 80s. Fantastic track, but the crowd can't really participate or get into it as much as they can in even other slower songs like The Jack.
@@MisterSwagify Brian is not hitting the high note in the Chorus here. Maybe he is saving his voice...but the song would need him to nail that note perfectly in a concert..Maybe he couldn't do it regularly.
It's great to see how diciplined these guys are. When they're not playing they're not playing. A LOT of bands out there can learn from this. Especially guitarplayers. They never shut it up when the band rehearse but just keeps it going to someone pull out the fuse. There's allways some pedals and amps to adjust, and if not they must tune the guitar. And they allways have to do it with the volume turned to 11. Shut the fuck up man! Someone try to say something here.
@@markokukkonen2907 all drum tracks belong to Phil Rudd, they brought in bary j . Wilson for some sessions but they didnt use anything he did on the record. Simon wright was drumming on the tour
wish brian would have took it easy with the stupid cigarettes and took some vocal chord cool downs and belted shit on every album like he did on back in black by stiff upper lip his throat turned to mucus and chopped liver
He came back on Ballbraker And Razors Edge lost it at stiff upper lip and cameback at Black Ice. He had a lot of up and downs, but his ups were really ups
@Lisa Weaver, So, are you saying the boys were amped up? Lol. In case you didn't know, musicians and sports figures and people all over have taken "stimulants" since the dawn of time. Remember Underdog and his ring that had his super-duper energy capsule? He'd pop it everytime he had to rescue Sweet Polly Purebred, lol. ☇!
Their most underrated album. "Flick" is still one of my faves.
i always think of flick as brain era powerage
I liked flick of the switch albumn some ppl say it failed but I say it rocked

With the heavy demand he was already under vocally that honestly would not surprise me @mebeasensei
Obviously because he couldnt sing it, he"s barely getting through it , it really shows, sounds great but he is working incredibly hard.
In their prime! No band was better than AC⚡️DC
Really they are still the best.
You wrayt. They are legend for ever
well,,,wow,,thank you vely much,,,,,shiiiiiiiiiit,,,that was good to hear and se mr.

one of my favorite acdc songs. I'm sure Brian was happy when he didn't have to sing this song again though

No concert was taken without a stimulant taken. Solid known. Just think millions made to stimulants taken.
