Honestly the leg rebound is totally unacceptable. It's too widespread to not have been caught, and super disappointing to see that they decided it was ok. It's destroying my love of the game.
The problems are almost entirely the switch in factories and not the pinless joints. Once the factories get their QC/QA problems dialed in the pinless will really feel a lot better. The biggest difference is that pinned joints make customizing a lot easier. Look at Marvel Legends and lines like that where they didn't switch factories at the same time, they didn't suffer from the massive problems all at once that Mattel's WWE stuff has. It's all factory. Once they get those issues worked out though they 100% need to work in that disk hinged neck joint.
I think an interesting idea for a video could be taking apart a China factory figure and a Vietnam factory figure and trying to see the differences in the insides of the torso or legs and see what's different
I agree that the pin less knees and elbows look nice, but man! They get so hard to impossible to bend sometimes. And changing the ball peg for the ball hinge, 👌
Totally agree with the neck articulation. I noticed that an old Jakks Kane I got for a custom had the double ball joint in the neck and I thought it was an great idea. Also after fixing the Solo UE, I never wanna see Gargano syndrome again.
Neck articulation is a great point, I was trying to pose a figure today and the head would pop off whenever i tried to make it look upward I don’t mind pinned legs but one thing I wish they would change is scaling. I hate when a figure is too tall/short. Ruins the likeness for me
I would like ab crunch for basic figs that is what I called a Main Event line, and for UE they need to improve the neck articulation and add a crunch in the lower ab zone like the new Baki Storm Arena, hope they fix the legs QC issues.
I thought this was just a me issue.this past christmas I got wwe elite figures and the one I was most excited for was the newest austin theory elite figure. I open it up and the left leg can't move to save it's life. I put it under hot water and it helped but it went back to how it was before
Question, when i remove headsculpts using heat mostly seth rollins, the neck peg breaks off and stays in the figure. I was wondering if there was a way to get the neck peg out and a way to prevent that
The ball hinge is just so much harder to get the heads on and they tend to get loose id much rather see the double ball hinge I also hate the Pinless knees I’ve never liked them to stiff I also think some molds need to disappear specifically the Daniel Bryan Torso and Giant Humongous CM Punk Knee Pads
Mcfarlane figures are a similar price point and have double ball peg necks. Not necessarily a high-end only figure feature. Would love to see Mattel implement these joints as well.
Hey MDT are you going to do Royal Rumble predictions and/or fantasy booking? I know you haven’t done it in a while for other PLEs but i’m sure i’m not the only one who misses them!
The Royal Rumble Cody really stings man, it could have been such a great figure... Maybe for a future action figure surgery you could try and drivel the peg on the leg. The NWF did it for the top picks CM Punk on his last short and it came out pretty good imo
The new legs are the biggest issue especially with the elites and ultimates i get scared to move the legs whenever i open my figs now because of this bs thats a problem worrying about the figure breaking out the box is ridiculous
Mate my fingers legs keep snapping and it never happened before they changed the factory I scared to buy any finger because there a chance the leg might snap 😔
@@MyDamnToysdon’t you ever call the Bayley figure buns dammit! The basic feet I understand but that figure is hella underrated imo. The headscan is great and it was a much needed upgrade.
The fact that that Unrivaled Figures neck-joints movement takes points of less of an Unrivaled figure, especially in general they have BETTER more articulation of figures , the fact you brought that up REAL makes sence that I just can’t say nothing about . The Fact you brought Goku into the mix 😂🤣😂🤣🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😂🤣😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍😍
That would be GAME CHANGING, being able to easily and quickly make a figure into a street gear attire by popping the torso onto a pair or jeans/pants etc

The thumbnail made me laugh.
Like all thr wrestlers fighting and Goku just standing behind chilling
First order of business is getting an accurate Bret Hart face scan asap.
My Monday Night Raw Razor Ramon cam with a Cody Rhoades body with tattoos included and a unpainted foot…guess I wasn’t the only one.
Wtf!!
I think an interesting idea for a video could be taking apart a China factory figure and a Vietnam factory figure and trying to see the differences in the insides of the torso or legs and see what's different
Enjoyed this, as a moc collector, didn't realise the difference between ball joints on the heads, was nice to see
Basically, I’d change all articulation to the way Jada does their Street Fighter line, especially the torso and neck.
Get out WWE only
Those Jada Toys figures are amazing. I only have 3, but I know of what you speak.

This Video Was Really Great MDT Enjoyed It A Lot

You have to use a box cutter and shave off some of the ball
Thanks for the advice. I'll try that and see how it works
I would love a dumbbell joint for the necks

Man, I got my Samoan Dynasty set the other day, and yeah. I love it. But man, those feet are something else.
Weird thing is my Royal Rumble Cody doesn’t have that problem, I can bend his legs around smooth, I guess it’s just some of them 🤔 🤷🏻♂️
Cody’s quads are so much bigger on the newer one than the other in red tights 🧐

It’s something to do with vietnams factories or something because shf figures that are made in Vietnam are prone to qc issues
The biggest issue is the legs, if they get the legs problem then figures would be much better, Great video

I never had a problem with legs that have pins in them like it doesn’t look the best, but it’s not worst
Hey MDT are you going to do Royal Rumble predictions and/or fantasy booking? I know you haven’t done it in a while for other PLEs but i’m sure i’m not the only one who misses them!
It’s definitely the factory some of the figures that you got recently have no problems, but for me the same figures have the issues
I would love to see the one video you did about running wwe comes back again
I agree with everything you said, great video.
Video just came out 3 minutes ago and the vid is 13 minutes. ???
@@elmo7486 I don't need to watch the whole thing to agree with him

To be honest, it is really easy to fix the thing with the leg not going up
shouldnt need to be fixed though. It should be bare minimum that the leg can move and stay in place
How can you fix it?
More attitude era ultimate editions as well as WCW talent from back in the day.
The new legs are the biggest issue especially with the elites and ultimates i get scared to move the legs whenever i open my figs now because of this bs thats a problem worrying about the figure breaking out the box is ridiculous
Keep that pressure on mattels neck they cant keep getting away with this.
1:34 build a figure legs not staying on
Mattel is the best action figure company to ever touch this earth 😅but there kinda just being lazy which is not a good thing…
Mate my fingers legs keep snapping and it never happened before they changed the factory I scared to buy any finger because there a chance the leg might snap 😔
Do you place them in boiling water when you notice a stuck leg joint?
@ yup and it does basically nothing 😔
I’d rather have the pins in the legs. So much easier to customize.
There is truth to this
Knowing the price of those SH Figure arts.... man no thanks lol. Tarriffs gonna hit these figs soon and even that will scare me price wise. 😢
Fix the new elites with really hot water and take the legs of and put the legs back on it fix the issue
At this point the main events are better, never had an issue with those!
Another day, another video of MDT yapping about how much he hates pinless joints, you hate to see it
- pretty sure he used to bang on about wanting pinless
"Buns" needs to be more descriptive. Like Bayley buns for example, would be very good, but it seems you are using it in a negative connotation.
its buns, its cheeks, its ass, its NOT GOOD
@@MyDamnToys Interesting

Great video
The legs are very 50/50 cause my Cody Rhodes rumble elite kicks perfectly fine does not snap back and I enjoy it
Johnny Garagano Sindrom??
this goes without saying hahah

Didn’t Jakks fig have a double ball for the head?
You should it would be epic
We also need pop out torsos like the aew ones
That would be GAME CHANGING, being able to easily and quickly make a figure into a street gear attire by popping the torso onto a pair or jeans/pants etc
Hell no they pop out too easily
I love you
