- If my camera work didn't ruin it for you, and you appreciated me uploading it, contribute (if you can spare) a buck or two. I make no money from views, all add revenue goes to the acts. I wonder who does get the money though. The artist or the record companies? The artist owns the 'author' rights and typically the record company owns the 'mechanical recording' rights. But they didn't record it... I did.
paypal.me/Willi... It may interest you that donations of $20 or more gain access a link for the fully uncompressed version, typically 13 GB/hr or $10 gets you a 2 GB/hr version, (RUclips versions are crunched 10:1 or about 250 Mb/hr) Some are reformatted to 16X9 like the version posted here. All donations are provided with a link to a comprehensive spreadsheet itemizing extensive details of the William G channel videos.
*This show has been reformatted into 16X9 from the original 4X3 aspect ratio. Some head cropping may occur. It may incorporate digital stabilization and some slight edits.
Life is short, don't spend too much of it watching other peoples videos. Make your own.
Enjoy.
Anybody who doesn't mind posting a setlist, I'd appreciate it.
Opening for Alice Cooper
No auto tune, no backing tracks, just talent .
Great White is one of those rare bands who sounds just as good live as they do on their albums.
RIP Mr Russell; love that he was a lifer in music, lived in his boat , and off course his great voice
Jack is one of the best love performers ever
Majority of his career he sounded as good as studio every night
I didn’t notice much aging in his voice until he was pushing 60
Most underrated band ever.
Whoever did their sound was a genius.
you're 100% right. Not only what we're hearing but also what the band is hearing. It's literally impossible (although not completely) to sing like Jack does in the video if he can't hear himself properly. I suspect you know that already though.
@@markmailloux4472 It’s Michael Lardie. He’s also a sound engineer. On top of playing multiple instruments.
Yeah, it's not easy to get a live sound like this. You can hear everything..., sitting in the mix exactly where it should be, and when it cranks up nothing distorts or gets lost. I saw them on this tour, and the sound was amazing!
What I wouldn't give to go back to that time!
PERFECTION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Saw Jack Russell's great white in San Diego the other night could not believe how good he still sounds I was blown away
Good times!!! 🤘
Simple the ultimate best of Great White for that time! Got even better after that! 👈🔥🔥🥁🎤🎸🤟
Seen this in van. Still got the tshirt.
Thank you for filming all these awesome shows. I’ve been filming since 92 hundreds shows would love to share them. I’m not to good with computers so any advice would appreciate it.
Thanx...I needed this!
There was just something pleasantly different about that band!
NICE!!
What a way to ring in the new year fuck me
wow! There aren't many live versions of Angel Song on RUclips from back in the day. If a band had a performance like this today they'd be accused of lip syncing. Jack's voice is unreal and the captured audio is also amazing given this was 1989. Bravo to all!
Thanks.
There music kept getting better as there popularity went down didn't make any sense liked grunge but still liked great white also
I had other plans this night. I wonder who got the mic stand ?
the alice cooper trash tour!
Wow super impressed w footage and how did get camcorder in? Thank you for this footage. Its highlight of this quartine madness ! I saw them open for Tesla 90s. I always like them but too bad giant fire in club caused death and lead to there non existent! Jack and rest band should be around like Poison, Crue n GNR touring now. Thank for putting smile on me.😃 great job👍👏🤟
Great White are still touring.
was this shot at Maple Leaf Garden's ?
What venue was it? Who were they opening for?
It’s called the Rogers Centre these days but then it was called the Skydome. They opened for Alice Cooper.
🇦🇷👌
Do you want to trade some shows?
All Over Now
Rock Me
Angel Song
Once Bitten Twice Shy
Don't forget Lady Red Light... and House of Broken Love...just to name a few more.
@@denisebrashears1552lol he’s talking about the set list dude . They don’t play house of broken love here which is a crying shame
Because that’s a killer tune and there sound quality is fantastic
New Years 1989! Lucky Toronto!
I came here, because Jack Russell shared this video. I love Jack!
Here’s yonder setlist for ya:
1. All over now
2. Rock me
3. The angel song
4. Once bitten twice shy
2 songs off once bitten
2 songs off twice shy
I’m pretty sure there was at least one song not recorded, those being Face the day (before All Over Now). Some set list websites state that House of Broken Love was also played live, but that’s doubtful.
Yes for sure, there was actually many songs here not recorded. During their tour for twice shy they usually opened with the first track from the album move it, and there was heart the hunter that followed it just like on the album. So there is definitely missing songs @@craftyrobandicootproductio1424
Noooooooo F'n autotune. Just pure talent.
